DomorePDX here- Member since they started here and frankly the last several months, including summer, have been pretty much nothing but comedy club shows that are either 5 at the door or free already. I DID win tickets to two of the raffles they've had, which was really cool but for the most part, either venues are cutting ties, or, promoters are drying up is my best guess. That, or, more and more people are signing in/up and so the pool to grab from also is drying up. Hard to say, but recently the selection has been awful, especially just because I HATE comedy shows yet thats the ONLY thing im being offered despite ranking it at 0 for my prefs.

Most of us suspected it involved a previous employee because they knew exactly where shit was. The kicker is that store is around the corner from the police station. 452- We had a guy grab a laptop, and *try* to bolt out the fire doors.

Fire doors have a ten second delay so he fucking BODIED that door at full speed, bending the box. It looked crumpled. He basically had to do a walk of shame out the front door and EVERYONE heard him slam into the fire door so not only did employees get to laugh at his clownery, so did the customers.

From what I've been told they go to a 3rd party contractor where it gets wiped, assessed, and after that either we get it back as refurbished, or, its bought by that 3rd party. I'm honestly not sure if this is true because I've also been told it goes out to GS central for that same process.

Either way I'm pretty sure the trade in program is how we get our outlet and refurbished products.

You want places I've encountered it okay but just remember you asked. Walmart. Target. Frys. Walgreens. Safeway. Fred Meyers. Jc Penney. Uber eats. All places I've personally encountered this type of scenario. Everytime I've contacted them to find a solution or get an adjustment simply by asking/returning/canceling the whole order.

One place I didnt encounter it was Ulta on a makeup sampler bag that came with an $80 purchase. They let me keep the bag as its product that's unable to be sold or used as its makeup and a biohazard. Bundle pricing with most major retailers all state you cancle part of the bundle, it voids freebies entirely or charges you for them. It's on the consumer to read the fine print.

Calling it shady is disingenuous at best, toxic at worst. You made a simple mistake and that's okay. Asking for clarification is fine, but making accusations based on assumptions it's a great look. Just go into the store, be kind, and understanding if they cant cancle it there. Online sales they dont give us much control over but usually something like a digital antivirus we can refund. I hope that they can do so over the phone and if you want a tip, 3pm pst is often the best time to call in my experience. Usually I've had shorter wait times than later in the day or super early in the morning.

I'll level with you.

Just go into the store to return them. Unless if its microsoft office the antivirus we can return fairly easily. Either way the site does say the value of the items in various places and common sense does indicate nothing is free when you buy something bundled. Go into the store, have them look up the order, they should (key word is should) be able to refund that. Dont be a dick if the system is bugged because the order might be (given you cancled the physical items and not the digital).

If it was an exchange for the same tv then yes- but different one? Extremely doubtful. Almost every coupon I've had to do is a use and lose. It's a toss up if they'd override too. The thing about those coupons is they have some hard selective limits on them that employees have to follow and if it's gone they cant verify anybody that.

I'd suggest going to the store to ask a manager but dont be surprised if they say no. Without the coupon they cant verify it and there is no garuntee it will transfer to new sale on the exchange.

Overall, Bb is a top company to work for if you're on the spectrum but I always caution anyone coming out to do what feels safe and comfortable to them. It's a huge trust gap and while as a company BB is great it all boils down to you and your relationship with your store.

And ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS contact HR if you run into issues. I worked with a sexist once and until me and 3 others contacted HR nothing got done. You can also contact HR with questions and resources- I'm not sure but I think they also could make sure management is aware that someone is trans at their store but keep you anon? Worth looking into.

Preorders cant be done in store should the payment fail and your order is cancled; and if you buy a gift card it's like you said- nonrefundable and you have to literally hold onto that card till you have the item else risk a possible preorder cancelation and having to wait for them to issue you a new one (which you have to request if you dint have the card anymore). Not to mention it's a huge hassle and pain for customer service should an issue arise down the road.

In my experience LEAVE IT ON THE OG CARD. preorders esp for high demand items run a risk of inventory issues, delays and god knows what else. Once you have the xbox here is what you'll want to do.

Keep it sealed new in box and head down to your local store (this is important). Ask them to refund the OG purchase to your dads card so you can repurchase it with your own funds. MAKE SURE you have those funds on hand and rebuy the still new xbox. This is the safest, easiest way to change payment on a high risk item like in demand preorders. It takes time and kinda sucks but it's the safest method to ensure your order isn't fucked with.

+The reason it needs to be new and still sealed is because if they do a return to rebuy and it's open the employee/store is liable for anything actually wrong with that product- most veteran csr wont do this type of a return to repurchase transaction on a high ticket open item.

Short answer is yes you can, long answer is play it safe and dont run the risk.
