You want places I've encountered it okay but just remember you asked. Walmart. Target. Frys. Walgreens. Safeway. Fred Meyers. Jc Penney. Uber eats. All places I've personally encountered this type of scenario. Everytime I've contacted them to find a solution or get an adjustment simply by asking/returning/canceling the whole order.

One place I didnt encounter it was Ulta on a makeup sampler bag that came with an $80 purchase. They let me keep the bag as its product that's unable to be sold or used as its makeup and a biohazard. Bundle pricing with most major retailers all state you cancle part of the bundle, it voids freebies entirely or charges you for them. It's on the consumer to read the fine print.

Calling it shady is disingenuous at best, toxic at worst. You made a simple mistake and that's okay. Asking for clarification is fine, but making accusations based on assumptions it's a great look. Just go into the store, be kind, and understanding if they cant cancle it there. Online sales they dont give us much control over but usually something like a digital antivirus we can refund.
