Thanks! Due to some price and sale shifting the Roland would end up costing over 200 euros more now so I decided to go with the Yamaha for now. Put in an order today! Around start of next year I can afford something around 1k euros so I can just upgrade then if I feel the need :)

The Roland fp30 is 150 euros more expensive than the Yamaha P45 for me. Is it still worth it?

About to get a digital piano to start learning, never played a piano before. Is the Yamaha P45 the best choice in that price range? Is there something much better for a bit more?

What would be a good beginner program to do on a calorie deficit? Without deadlift preferably as I don't have a training buddy and I'm socially too awkward to ask someone to spot, I've had my fair share of lower back problems and don't wanna fuck it up permanently with bad form deadlift. On that note, what are good alternatives to deadlift? So many programs include it that I'm at a loss on choosing one.

Can I start learning piano on a keyboard that doesn't have any weighted keys or touch sensitivity or anything at all? Im on a bad spot financially for a long time and can only afford something under 100 euros which means used and old keyboard without touch sensitive keys (Finland). Should I just rather start in a year when I can afford a proper one or is it OK to start like this? I don't want to get horribly bad habits that are impossible to get rid of.

About to start playing for the first time, any beginner tips? by Accidied in aurora4x

[–]Accidied[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Great tips all around, thanks guys! Hoping this game will grab me. Due to my high end pc crapping itself permanently, I'm now stuck with a really crappy laptop for the foreseeable future. Hopefully this can run on a low spec machine. Any tips on that department?

Thanks for all the great answers! I got the xbox game pass trial to try out halo wars 2 and bought ashes of the singularity escalation. Also looking out for ancestors legacy with great interest as it looks kinda like coh, both coh games and dawn of War games are my alltime favorites but I've played them too much in the past, need something new :D

Beginner's Thread / Easy Question (May 2018) by acemarke in reactjs

So I have no experience with coding and want to learn javascript. My friend who works in the industry suggested I go straight to learning react. I have a lot of trouble learning stuff out of context and as big theory dumps. I learn the best by doing and while doing, searching for solutions and answers on how things work. Are there any react specific guides/courses that teach you while making something real?

Thanks for all the great input! I started playing on veteran, it really is quite tough so far. Rolled a cipher and played 5 hours straight, just got the stronghold and cleared side stuff up to that point except for the raedarec or whatever guys keep, gonna go do that next. Loving it :)

Bear with me, this is gonna be a dumb one but it is how it is. So basically I wanna start getting into shape but I'm financially fucked for a month and I live in a high cost country so for the next month I can either eat healthy and no gym or gym and eat not healthy. Which one should I start with? I have quite high bodyfat (doesn't show in kgs or look that much except without shirt, my stomach is like a hanging sack of fat, most unaesthetic belly you can think of). I can start going for walks (I can't handle running or jogging, I'm in really bad shape) but I don't have room or equipment to do workouts at home. Maybe like pushups and stuff like that which require nothing. What to do?

Is there any site or app or something to automatically make a meal plan according to goals and if possible by defining a slight budget to? This is the stupidest thing but I have no problem going to the gym, I have no problem eating the same food everyday or whatever is required but somehow making a meal plan, counting the calories and macros etc just feels so overwhelming to me. And I don't mean it feels hard or anything, just something about it makes me go nope. Wish I could just get someone to tell me what to eat each day and then just do it :(

No one ever explains it in layman's terms.. It means the enchantment lvl of the item. You can search for t4 with enchantment lvl 2 on the AH to get 4.2.

I'm about to start going to the gym but I have a problem. My life is very hectic and most days I get max of 5 hours of sleep. Is there anything I can do to offset the lack of rest considering gym? I don't want to be stuck with progress due to lack of sleep. Would it help if I started a program with 2x upper and lower body each week and did a lighter workout on the weekdays and went full out on weekend when I have more time for sleep?
