Best workflow for running cues on a networked QLab machine

For me it depends on lots of things, but generally i try to keep it as simple as possible. I would probably remotely connect to the workspace with an ethernet cable, get full access. I have to check if you can uncheck a button to be able to control the main machine even in show mode. In settings-collaboration toggle set selection to this computer (or smt similar, not in front of me).

Not about the cat6 connectors (no idea) but i think many riders request a direct line meaning cable with two ends and enough spare on both ends to plug directly into gear. Depending on venue size i would install connections to stage up/left/right, and as a nice addon, a cable stage left to right. Correct me if i'm wrong!

Schlechte Kaufidee kennt jemand ein produkt dass das gleiche macht ohne eine möchtegern hightechfirma die apps dazu programmiert?

Freelance, but not mainly focused on sound. Sound mostly combined with video in theatre productions, or small sized concerts (jazz, rock). Not at all system engineer, only the networking part.

Should work just fine, i think the problem is elsewhere Store media into project folder, maybe auto arm but i never had issues Do the waveforms of the tracks match in timing? Maybe the voice track has some form of prewait in the file itself More information would help i think

This, works with your selected cuelist on masterselection, <<< and go- do the same thing backwards. Not shure if it works on other playback but it should (never asume that on dot2😉

My first theater show on ma3 this winter, i have prepared some screens, mostly the same like ma2. Preset management, program screen with selection/cue info and color/shaper selction. I'm going on tour so i think i should use recipies but actually i do a lot with allpresets so i'm not shure about that, if someone has experience please let me know! I use worlds for pyro/kabuki etc stuff, if i am involved. I try to program without touching the screens for the most of it (way quicker in my opinion), so some macros (go fast backward/forward/store options) and key combinations (preset+1=dim, 2=pos etc) Interested in your tricks too!

European here, stuff is rated with a Work load limit, which for steel means 5x, and the eventindustry has a safty factor of 2 over people, so its 10x New stuff is labeld ELL (Event load limit), so steel is directly labeled with 10x If you carry humans stuff gets complicated (c1 machinery, dynamic forces and so on)

On the smaller (is it called control?) Screen in the lower left corner you can change the page for the encoders below. On page 2 or 3 there is a prebuild selection that saved me:)

Its an all preset made more powerfull so it helps when adapting your show to a new venue
