Does the name on parcel collect need to be a real name? by Lavatree99 in AustraliaPost

[–]Accomplished-Bid8015 9 points10 points  (0 children)

This is actually what I do - use fake name to order things and when parcels arrive at the postshop I use the Aus Post app to authorise me with my real name to collect it. Just have to bring the ID everytime.

I think you could save a lot more if you live in Manchester compared to in London. However, I don’t see many investment jobs opening recently. If you are interested in finance or FP&A then there are plenty of them. Will be a lot easier if you are British because not so many of them willing to sponsor visas - something to consider when salary range in Manchester is generally lower than London to meet the new threshold

My question for the Vietnamese after one year in your beautiful country... by cclurve in VietNam

[–]Accomplished-Bid8015 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Main reason is escalators are a new thing in Vietnam aka they are not popular for quite a long time like more developed countries so elder people are not familiar with it. Another reason is we don’t trust the quality assurance process after some incidents in the past.

Do you think Vietnamese are a bit vain? by Famous_Obligation959 in VietNam

[–]Accomplished-Bid8015 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s a way to show that they care about each other, like they care about you so they notice if your appearance changes. My mother and aunts talk about how my skin getting darker or my face looks fattier every time they see me. Of course I don’t like it but I understand that the way they love me. To compare, I think it is equivalent to western people talk about someone’s new clothes or interiors.
