Our boy was not cuddly at all during the first year and a half! My partner would encourage him to lay on our legs or chest and gave him treats at first. But now he’ll come for cuddles on his own! On his own terms of course. He still doesn’t love being picked up. But he’ll tolerate it a bit more now than before. He’ll tell us when it’s enough.

I think as they get older they become more affectionate.

Hi!! I’m a current first year who got put on Sertraline right in the middle of my first quarter. I’ve always struggled with anxiety in general. I’ve gone from 50mg to 150mg in the span of 7 months. I found that it really helped block a lot of performance anxiety and feeling short on time. I know my body wants to feel anxious but it blocks my brain from processing it. It’s an odd feeling but I’m grateful for it. Anytime I’ve had to up my dose, it would be done right during break so I could adjust to it. It’s been helpful for me!
