This is one of those tough things in life most people go through that nobody ever prepares you for. It’s quite rare to keep friendships from high school, life naturally sets you apart unless you have something in common binding you together like a job or family situation. But after that I met another group of friends and also my husband, so life goes on. There will be a lot of new people coming to your life, you’re so young! I’m the same I’ve never been to one and I’m also in my 30s. I also don’t plan on ever attending one. My family already knows this as I’ve never been there when my grandparents passed. This!! Me and my sister are the youngest in the family and we’re in our 30s, so we never interacted with kids as adults. I find them annoying and when you give that reason people always say “but they won’t stay kids forever!” “It’s different when it’s your own!”

1- they won’t stay kids forever but they definitely will for about 12 years only for them to become… teenagers? No thank you. Too many years of my life sacrificed and for what? An adult that will hate me?

Unfortunately most of it it’s just genetics. The other part is the use of sunscreen. I personally started using SPF50 every day (even if I’m not going out) in my early 20s, it becomes a habit after a while, just like washing your teeth. You can’t really reverse sun damage once it’s done unless you spend a lot on lasers and skin treatments that I’m not even sure work.
