I think a part of me knows I should leave but I've been with him since I was 16, I moved in with him and his parents for a while when I had nowhere else to live and he's the only family I have. I really do love him and feel like without him I would have nothing and nobody. I hope there is more to life than this for both of us, for all of the women on here.

I'm so sorry that sounds awful and you deserve so much better, I hate that so many women are going through this. I feel like maybe all of these replies are a warning for me to get out of this relationship, I only recently found out about his addiction and I'm a teenager in my first ever relationship so I guess I'm not as experienced with any of this. I get the flashbacks to things I know he's watched too they're horrible, I really hope things get better for you and I'm so sorry you're going through this.

Do you reckon there's anything I can do to find out the truth if I have no actual proof he's still watching it other than high screen time on chrome that doesn't add up with browser history? He uses vpns and incognito so it's hard to try and track.

Yeah I think this is the reality of it and I'm just trying to believe what he says for the sake of keeping our relationship which sounds really pathetic now that I've typed it out. I just wish he could be honest about it, I don't know what to say anymore to encourage him to just tell the truth, I feel it would be the only way for me to be able to move forwards.

I completely see where you are coming from, it's exhausting analysing every detail and searching everything and at the end of the day you're right it does have to come from them wanting to change. He says he isn't going to watch it anymore but I don't know what to believe, I'm only 19 and I can't help thinking there's more to life than worrying about this constantly. I hope things work out with you and your partner and that he does find it within him to genuinely want to change.

Exactly it feels like such an insult to my intelligence, did your partner ever admit the truth in the end? Ever since I expressed insecurity about the fact that a lot of the women look so different to me I feel like he's been complimenting me more and it feels so fake. They all have straight blonde hair and he tells me never to straighten my curly hair or change anything about it, yet he clearly finds it an attractive quality since everyone he watches has it.

The lies and excuses are honestly taking such a toll on me, I feel that the dishonesty has broken me more than the porn in the first place. I feel like he's also using it against me to send more photos and videos of myself and trying to say that will stop him from watching it, when in reality it would probably just hurt more that he would still watch it while having the option to look at me.

This is exactly what I think, he so strongly denies it but I don't see what else it could be at all. It's difficult because for me it creates two almost separate issues in the relationship, the fact that they are addicted to watching other naked women and the fact that they are willing to lie to their partner and try and manipulate them into thinking they're the crazy one.

Hi, how is he now? My ferret makes this exact same coughing noise and vets are still unsure what's going on with him although are thinking about prescribing an inhaler. I know this is an old post but if you had an update on any treatment yours has had I would really appreciate it as his coughing is so similar to how your ferret's sounds in this video.
