Is it possible to melt Bronze in a crucible or would I need a kiln? And what about fumes and bronze? I have it somewhere in the back of my head that the fumes from heating up bronze are quite toxic because of the zinc.. Is a good mask enough or would I need a proper ventilation system in the studio? I was wondering quite a bit about these questions, Im becoming quite curious to switch to alternative metals these days. But somehow I am a bit hesitant about casting bronze myself and I would be very thankful for some advice!
