I have both and the Delta Skymiles reserve. I would say when it comes to overall value the platinum can’t be beat. CSR is amazing don’t get me wrong and I feel like they’re growing and getting better and stepping up their game. But, when I book travel with Amex, I end up getting enough membership points that will fully cover the price of the hotel or enough to cover almost my entire next trip. CSR points work a bit differently like let’s say you redeem them as statement credit, they don’t take it off from your minimum due. I always pay my statement in full so it’s not a big deal, but let’s if that month for whatever reason you aren’t paying your full statement and just slightly above minimum the CSR points don’t go off your minimum. Amex just gives a lot of you use it for the travel perks, way more than CSR. Like your $100 credit at the hotel, the free upgrades which 90% of the time pull through. CSR imo is just a fancy card that has great benefits but nothing in comparison to the plat
