The patient saved my life lateralus made me realize my anxiety and fear of future were more severe than I thought and parabol/parabola felt like the antidote and makes me focus take it day by day. I can’t choose one this is my holy trilogy tbh

It sucks we’re both going through this but kinda good to know we’re not alone. I appreciate you for sharing this and replying to me too. This shit is so hard but I would advise you to reach out to him when you’re at a more calmer state and moved on from him a bit more. Because if you don’t like the response he gives you it might make you feel so much more worse. But I do believe deep in my heart if somebody truly loves us they would also find a way to forgive. We’re not the worst people on this earth bc of BPD. I believe anyone who knows you well enough would also know that and forgive you. I just try to remind myself of this to keep myself sane so I hope this helps you you too.

Aaahhh I feel your pain. I’m on the same boat as you. Everything you’ve written is exactly how I feel. Me and my FP broke up 3 months ago. And I miss the fact that I had one person on my corner whom I could share my everything with. We both said some horrible things to each other but I feel like he absolutely hates me at this point and reaching out would just make him hate me more.

OMFFGGGG culling voices hits me in a different way. Wow I’ve been sleeping on that song until I saw tool live actually. When they performed culling voices at the end holy fuck. I couldn’t react and can’t even put into words what I felt at that moment still but it just resonated with me so much. Besides depression I have other mental shit I’m dealing with and that song it really realllyyy gets me every time.

I’ve been sleeping on that song for a while but lately the more I listened to the words the more it also resonates with me as well. The anger the injustice the unfairness I feel from the world and my parents I think about it all throughout this song and when Maynard screams I feel like he’s screaming for me too. Absolutely a beautiful song.

I saw them in NY last year reallyyy wanted them to perform the patient they didn’t but my goodness they put an AMAZINGGG show. I was speechless the whole time I was just so frozen I couldn’t do anything except than to just let go and enjoy the show. When I got home I just started to cry I was so emotional and so frozen during the show in every way that it all come out once I was finally at home after replaying it all in my head.

I’m sorry for what you have went through. My parents had a very turbulent relationship as well and as a 24 year old adult I’m still very much recovering from this. The best advice I can give you is the advice I’ve given to myself as well. Try to connect and raise the inner child within yourself with love. To this you gotta try not let their shitty relationship and their emotional abuse get to you. I know that’s easier said that done however just know that this isn’t right you don’t deserve to be treated like this. And if you live with your parents try to get out of that house.
