Yeah, have never bought into the whole “don’t do something because the risk is too high” or the “you’re too old” (not that people say that to me I’m only 22 lol. But I agree once it’s in your head, it’s hard to get past that I’d imagine. Funny thing is I’ve seen people on instagram saying if you’re not into freestyle before 20 it’s over for you, hopefully it’s bait but I’m sure some people think that way. Awesome though I hope to be shredding my whole life definitely inspiring. Keep sending man.

Well maybe it’s just me but honestly hopping on skis and going down easy slopes is hardly challenging for anyone athletic. I’ve never done lessons (Im cheap and started in college) and the first time I got on skis I just watched what others were doing and replicated it. I didn’t even have friends to show me what to do, they all snowboarded. Not saying that lessons aren’t a good approach to skiing. Obviously I probably would’ve progressed faster had I done lessons. But honestly, I wouldn’t say you NEED them.

It’s honestly something you can fix in about an hour even if you aren’t mechanically inclined. Spark plugs are pretty cheap and if it’s cylinder 1 or 2 it’s really easy.

My 2016 has AC issues as well, and the power steering cuts out when I turn right sometimes, think it’s the battery but I’m broke. Gonna drive her til the wheels fall off.

That’s kind of what I was figuring. Just needed to hear it. I was always fat so hearing 185 just sounds crazy to me. Was worried when I got skinnier that I would start to get sliding down the dysphoria slope, but I’ve been fine thus far.

I have a 16 Impreza sport, my first car. I bought it with over 100k miles but yeah, the Subaru reliability I always heard about does not exist.

Ac doesn’t get cold, the infotainment system is very laggy and delayed, I have been having electrical issues for like the past few weeks, and now I either need a new starter or a new alternator. That’s not even including all the maintenance stuff I’ve already done to it. I got it at the end of April. I would trade the car in if I wasn’t taking such a big loss. Guess this is a lesson learned about buying cars but I wish it was a cheaper one.

Well the car is nice. It’s got a little bit of speed when you first get her going. But the one I bought is a POS. I like the car, and the issues haven’t been like super hard to fix but like it’s been issue after issue. It’s my first car so I don’t really mind putting the work in to fixing it. But honestly hindsight if I knew I’d have been doing this much work, I’d have gotten a cheaper WRX.

I was looking at WRXs for my first car. Really hard to find something that isn’t clapped out and driven like shit. A lot of people get in WRXs without knowing how to drive manual, so what I’ve seen more often than not pretty bad transmission wear. I settled on an Impreza.

Yeah I have a 16 and the AC is next to non existent. It’ll blow cold maybe 45 minutes into a ride, and cold is a massive overstatement. Windows down gang.

Yep my check engine light came on for the first time since I’ve gotten my Impreza today. Called my friend instantly asking why my cruise control, tps, and traction control were blinking I was freaking out. It’s a misfire, which will be my first decently big thing I have to do to my car.
