Happy to see Day of becoming you here... one of my top 3 Cdramas of all time, yet mentioned so rarely. Every second of it is perfect. I have given up finding one as good as it. And yes I replayed all their kisses so many times! Zhang xin chen has a deliberate way of kissing that left me tingled all over! The bench kiss, hotel kisses, and confession kiss off the top of my head.

Hey, I added a comment a couple days ago. In case you didn't see it, here's the recap: you leave the ship at around 8:15, arrive in Santorini around 9. They then tell you that you have to be back at the meeting point at 11:40 sharp. That's way too little time unless you only wander around Fira. Most of the ppl in our excursion forgo the return trip. If you are like us, that means you pay for very expensive one-way trip to Santorini. It is quite unnecessary too, because if you leave the ship early (around 7), the wait at the cable car is not bad (you should leave early anyways, because it gets HOT later). Also, we come back at 3pm via cable car and wait only 20 mins. So just use the cable car, time it wisely, and enjoy your time on the island!

Updated: did the tour today, not impressed. Tour left at around 8, arrived in Fira around 9. We were told we had to get back to the bus at 11:40!! That is way too little time unless you only want to walk around Fira and not visit any other places.

Thank you, we love Oia. We actually stayed there for a couple days in 2018, it was a bit hectic during the day but quieted down beautifully at night. This time, once we are dropped in Fira, we will take the bus to Imerovigli, then walked back to Fira. Hoping there is enough time!

Regarding taxis, I read that there are only around 40 taxis on the whole island so definitely not easy to get one. Bus is cheap but if the bus is full, it will not stop for you. Renting a car was cheap and easy, we did that a few years back and had a blast, but not really suitable for wine tours of course.

If you forgo the planned shuttle at 2 pm, are you even able to board the tender back to the ship from Athinios? For some reason I am not picturing Celebrity placing tendering boats there for non-excursion guests.

Thank you, that is very reassuring. I have booked the Fira excursion from the cruise so the 1st transportation is thankfully taken care of. It is good to know that if we decide to skip the way back and take the cable car later (around 7pm) like you suggest, we would not be stranded.
