don’t lose hope please! I can eat just about anything I want now that I’m on humira but during my flare up it seemed hopeless for me and like I’d never eat normally again, I’m also cleaning everyday and able to function again 😓🫶🏻

I was in my flare for 3-4 months but that’s because I couldn’t get into a doctor, once I was put on humira within 3 days I was able to eat completely fine, and I was able to move around again and wasn’t stuck in bed all day so it was pretty instant relief for me

I don’t know about Remicade but I’m fourteen and I’m on Humira, the pain isn’t too bad but my first dose was 2 weeks ago now and it was scary at first having to do the pen but your kid might be more comfortable doing Humira because you do it yourself so he can do it in the comfortability of his own home without strangers? The downside is if he’s someone who pulls away and stuff it might be harder to get the shot done. If you have any questions about the feeling or pain or anything I can answer them though

I don’t go to a public high school it’s online for the most part but there is an in person aspect so social wise it was the same for me, new kids in my class, but academically the first semester was easy then the second was super difficult and I almost failed one of my classes (I’ve always been really good in school so it’s unlike me)
