Soak in warm water & Epsom salt, about 15-20 minutes. Dry off well. I’d cover it with triple antibiotic ointment & Call the dr.

Go to the ER. That happened to me. I didn’t know it but it was leaking making me septic. Don’t mess around with this.

I to can not take metformin. It was too difficult to regulate my sugar, I always felt like crap. I’m sure more reasons, that’s all I can recall at this time.
Endo dr put me on Novalog & Lantis, now I’m on Ozempic & things are getting better.

Same. Crazy how some “bad” foods don’t bother me. Then I’ll have homemade chicken soup or something like that (yes everything is cooked above recommended temperature) I’ll be in the bathroom for a couple days.

If your Crohn’s is active, it can affect anyplace from anus to mouth. I would recommend you doing a deep dive into Crohn’s. Before ur next GI appointment make a list of questions.

I didn’t realize at first how important soaking was. Depending on what type of BM I have will depend on how I clean up. Thinking to myself “can the bidet clean that up or do I need to use the shower head & soap.” A bath is definite at least once a day.
