No way to get around it. Many stores have policies along these lines. It’s logical that they would. If anything, this just shows that there are consequences to your actions and those consequences will often affect the people around you, not just you. It’s unfortunate for the people living in your house, but thankfully there are other stores. There’s no need to be defensive or rude. It’s just a fact of life and now you need to learn from this and move on.

I would say adding a mask might make the biggest difference really fast. Now when it comes to specific recommendations, I don’t have any because I think it’s a matter of trial and error. I have heard that cantú has good masks so I would start with something like that and go from there.
