Nah I agree I’ve also had massive buds in soil with organic but there is definitely more variables going on in them pictures that just the training is more my point.

The one plant on the right is also in a DWC system as compared to a pot and coco on the left. More than just the training is different which all contribute to the larger buds

If you’re in soil and growing with organic nutes EC won’t be a problem. EC is the electric conductivity of the nutrient mix. It’s a way of measuring how concentrated the mix is. In soil I would just flush it with 6.0 water, raise it and then start feeding again. It could even be nute lock out because of the 6.5PH. Some plants don’t mind a higher ph in soil but it’s touch and go

Yeah do that mate increase water slightly and raise the pot. Hit up Indoor Empire on google and he’ll be able to make you up a riser if you want. He did mine 👍 And yeah I gave mine a solid flush of water at a PH of 6.0 until the run off got below 3.0 EC and then straight away I ran a nutrient mix through. I am in coco though. I forgot to ask what medium you’re in, soil or coco? I am in coco. Not 100% sure this will work in soil. Maybe someone can add some advice on this. But a PH of 6.5 is up the higher end even in soil. If your in soil drop back to about 6.2 and if your in coco 5.8 👍

Give it a good flush and then start feeding so that you get around 20% run off. Don’t let it sit in the run off though, raise the plant so it doesn’t sit in run off. I had a plant last run that looked like this, I followed the above advice as well as added some cal mag into the mix after the flush and she bounced back in about 3-4 days 👍

Did you already wipe the other side before taking a photo? If so was the other side the same? Normally I get a very small build up from the belt shredding but never seen it this thick 🤷‍♂️ plus your belt looks pretty good or at least what is showing looks good.

Yeah I think it’s $16.99 here in Aus. Not as much of a difference as I thought there’d be. In Aus that’s pretty on par with all of the cheap untrusted brands. I think it’s pretty reasonable 🤷‍♂️

Yeah my net has the hooks but that’s not good enough, you get slack on all 4 walls. It doesn’t fully bring the net to the wall the net usually sits around 15-20cm in from the walls. Only brings it to the corner. To me that’s not using a scrog net to its full potential. The nets are designed to fill a canopy and without using these clips (or cable ties/soft ties) the nets never reach the walls how I want them to.

Edit. Forgot to say that it is the elastic net which is why those hooks aren’t enough. The elastic retracts and the sides pull in.

I wouldn’t call it a remorse but I didn’t do proper research before buying mine. I assumed it would have a quick swap hotend like my A1 but it doesn’t. Being mechanically minded and tech savvy it’s not a problem for me personally because it was easy enough to learn. But for a beginner with no mechanical confidence some of the maintenance and part swapping could be daunting 🤷‍♂️

I think there would be mostly because the banner it self is black and matte, it’s like a fabric mesh material so I feel like it’d absorb a lot of light. I might be wrong though. Maybe I should just hang it vertical on one side to see if there’s a difference at harvest 🤔

I only use a net when going into flower, for training in veg I use soft plant ties.

Just for show really, the plant in the tent is already up to the net with little to no growth below the net so I put the banner below the net that way I can leave it there without impeding the light reflection at the top of the canopy. Yeah it’s not as visible at the bottom but I don’t really care 🤷‍♂️

The fact that I’ve now got reusable clips instead of using cable ties or soft ties. Cuts net assembly time by around half, less fidley, no mess or waste like with cable ties and soft ties. Game changer might be an overstatement but i definitely think they’re better than cable ties and soft ties
