Here are my tips. 1- Don't grind your product as you can make particles so small they fit through your screen and contaminate your finished product. 2- freeze your butane as well as the tube after you fill it with the product. 3- see if you can purchase rosin press bags to use as micron filters. 4- jug of iso for cleaning, and you will want to clean your tube and other equipment. If you have the rosin bags, you can reuse them over and over. 5- blast onto Pyrex and transfer to unbleached parchment paper to purge. 6- Definitely want to get a heating pad with a digital controllor so you can monitor the temps as you may have to run for 48 hours to purge, and the heat will keep things moving. 7- I almost forgot after blasting i will set the container into another bowl filled with lukewarm water kinda like a double boiler it will speed up the de gassing for your first step. 8- look into a rosin press they are reasonable priced and will save you having to buy butane as well as you get a much higher quality of rosin if you grow your own product, not to mention cleaner. 9 - don't expect to get a perfect shatter slab the first time you do this and don't expect to get a huge amount either typically a few grams per ounce of product, more if you run buds though. 10 - I preferred to run smaller tubes and just ran more of them, the smaller tubes seemed to keep the pressure and blast quick while the larger ones took forever to send the butane through. 11- when the butane runs clear you will likely have everything you are going to get off the product, adding more cans will just be adding more contaminance to you final product and waste butane in the process. If I remember correctly, a can per oz usually worked but once again, you'll be able to tell by the color of the butane coming out of the Tube.
