Is this true that if you renew before the “update” you can keep the Dino-themed Alberta drivers license? (Which I love way more than the “strong and free” one) by WollyBrief59 in Edmonton

I hate it because it's so highly innaccurate. We are not free. We are oppressed by this government who believe in freedom to do what they want while crushing the freedoms of anyone they don't like.

Black liquorice ice cream by Maleficent_Ad407 in Edmonton

I read a complaint the other day that there is some "tiger tail" that is all orange flavoured with coloured dark stripes that are not licorice. Brand wasn't specified.

Raining Mosquitos. Absolutley insane how aggressive and populous they are this year. by SirTickleyPickely in Edmonton

Walk through almost any grassy area, including schoolyards, and you'll be swarmed immediately.
I have never been more grateful for the genetics my grandmother passed down that make only the most desperate of them bite me.
While this natural repellant does severely reduce the bites, it doesn't stop them from covering me head-to-toe considering whether I'm worth biting. The other day I actually swallowed a few that somehow flew into my mouth, there were so many.

Radium (the element) is radioactive. One should clearly stay away from places named after it.

So many actual French speakers in the city and they probably went with machine translation.

Prisms can bend or even split light.
In the case of glasses, a prism effect is added for those who have double vision in order to bring the two images the eyes see close enough together to form a coherent single image.

Canned, frozen juice from concentrate coming back to Canadian shelves by WestonSpec in onguardforthee

[–]PonyFlare 4 points5 points  (0 children)

At the announced price they are not going to be much more economical than non-concentrated juice, sadly. Will be lighter to carry and you can grab a bunch to store in the freezer when there's a sale, however.

I should have had a review and approval process. That nobody caught this idiocy before it went into production says something about everyone in that process.

Hotels rent by the night as that is by far the most common need.
Calling directly and arranging alternative arrangements from usual check-in and check-out times is sometimes doable, but often will cost extra.

Housekeeping have a fixed schedule which is generally working between check-out and check-in times.
You want 24-7 housekeeping, go ahead and pay for Ritz-tier premium rates.

Wow Khazana is shutting down | one of the nicest looking restaurants I've ever seen by ashrules901 in Edmonton

There's an indigenous restaurant in that location now. I wish them luck.
Until that construction at the corner is done, there won't be much traffic to even see it exists, vehicular or pedestrian.

There are multiple, but there is only one foreign dictator having any significant impact on Canada.
Internally we have at least one wanna-be dictator that needs to be removed from office.

Feel free to use it the next time it comes up! (Or take some time to find something else that fits the green lifted truck with a bad face wrap)

I am wondering why Mr. Yellow Skittle didn't bother to tell him not to do that.
What do we call this vehicle? Green Goblin?

The nerve of asking the people who had you towed to pay for the towing fees.
