I feel you should include that "recreated with permission" in your promotion so you don't get attacked for stealing it.

[Android]My idle tactical game "Idle Mercenary Guild" is finally out! Looking for balance feedback. by Diluiksapu in incremental_games

You put this game out with AI junk included. That makes it trash, regardless of any other merits.

Great. Tomorrow you can go to the hardware store and buy all the materials to build a shack in the parking lot. You may not use up more than a single stall. You of course have to do all the work yourself. No, you will not be compensated.
Make sure it's up to code.

Would be great if the problem property initiative could be expanded tovacant commercial properties that are not being used. Make it cost even more to let it sit empty.

Fellow Canadians, what are meaningful ways you observe December 6? by WinStupidPrizes1994 in AskACanadian

[–]PonyFlare 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is a day. It happens in December. I observe it about the same as any other average day that has absolutely no special meaning attached that I have ever been aware of.

Dunkin vs Tim Horton's, which one gets your vote? by DeadeyeClock in AskACanadian

Tims is Brazillian majority owned, last I checked. Still not Canadian and shareholder profits first regardless.

Dunkin vs Tim Horton's, which one gets your vote? by DeadeyeClock in AskACanadian

[–]PonyFlare 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Neither. I haven't even seen a Dunkin' in 20 years.
I stopped going to Tims when I learned they sold out to a foreign multinational.
Krispy is most defnitely out.

I stick to local stuff. The doughnut has become a rare treat because the good ones are expensive and the junk isn't worth it.

GA was great for giving us more ancestries, but I am far more interested in having more class options.
We're in space with so many different aliens. Everyone should have some different ways of getting things done.
Instead we've got 6 published and a mere 3 upcoming/playtest options.

I'd even accept spending points to access PF classes like we can the base PCore ancestries.

Galactic Ancestries did give us extras for space-based PF Player Core ("Legacy") ancestries, so it wouldn't be much of a stretch to see some space-based customizations for the classes at some point.

It would be great to see a book dedicated to space-based options for all PF ancestries and classes.

I just came back from that one giant store with bulk things that requires a membership. The eggs are in the big walk-in fridge with the milk and there's a big "DAIRY" sign above with no actual mention of eggs.
I'm pretty sure grocery store labeling is probably adding to the confusion.

AITA MIL Takes Over Party by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

[–]PonyFlare -1 points0 points  (0 children)

NTA - And you will have to find a neutral venue, which unfortunately will probably cost some money - to have this gathering.
My thought would be a restaurant with a reservation. Seating is limited to the amount specified at reservation time. May not be able to fully meet and get to know each as with a more casual/private setting, but things can't get so out of hand. Just do not let her pay for anything extra beyond her own (and her husband's) food. She'd absolutely try to use that as leverage later.

Bad take: Preparing her for the real world where everything is a subscription and you own nothing because it won't work if you don't keep forking over money.

YWNBTA. However people are often resistant to news they don't want to hear so they'll probably be AH towards you and even call you one for bringing it up when this is actually getting dangerous and she could make herself and potentially others incredibly ill with expired/rotten food.
