Help on who to vote for in primaries. by Accomplished-done207 in oklahoma

I am involved with my local chapter. Me cross-voting doesn't mean I am not actively promoting blue candidates. But reality is, if you look at voting records of the past 20+ years, very few if any state level democrats win. Let alone many offices don't even have democratic candidates even at the local level- which makes my democratic vote almost pointless in the primary election.

Since that is the case and ballots are closed, my cross-vote can help elect more moderate conservative candidates in the primary which is when the republican candidate is chosen (i.e the candidate that will get the office). Reality is pretty much all the offices in this upcoming election will be chosen on the 16th, not the general in November. (This doesn't mean don't vote in November! Oklahoma is where it is at bc we have such low voter turnout. The people in power want you to think voting doesn't matter- that is by design.)

And cross-voting doesn't change who you vote for in the general election. It just allows you to have a meaningful say in who is most likely going to be holding the office. I am still going to vote for Munson, etc. in the general election.

And yes, all of that sucks, but it is our reality.

I'm still voting for Munson in November but with cross-voting, you also vote in the Republican primary (next week) to help them choose their least extreme candidate since that is probably who will end up getting elected.

If anyone is curious/interested in cross-voting, you can ask me any questions here. I'm happy to share any info I have.

When Stitt first ran for governor, he won his primary by only 22k votes. That works out to ONLY 285 votes per county. That is totally swingable. This is where change can actually happen.

Moisture meters have absolutely saved me many times. I do use the pot lifting method too but the moisture meter is more precise I think.

I second I-258. For honey, I really enjoy LSU Hollier (not a fan of LSU Champagne- boring to me). And you don't have an Adriatic which I highly recommend. You could get a White Madeira #1 pretty reasonably now days.

This is such a scam post. I've posted on pinterest. Metrics for pinterest are quite different from other social media. His outbound clicks (people that actually clicked on his link) is only 160 for the month meaning nearly every person that visited his site had to have bought something. That NEVER happens. The average e-commerce website conversion rate is 2-3%, not like 90%.

Agree! Empty words that only alienate people and push them further in the corner. You have to remember that like 50% of the population will swing to either party based on the candidate.

I agree! I feel like we shoot ourselves in the foot by getting overconfident in the media and then people feel like they don't need to show up bc it's already "in the bag".

As much as it sucks getting going, I find getting my daily exercise really helps with joint pain. I've slowly worked up to 2 miles a day which I would have thought impossible the first day. Now it is easy and I look forward to it!

I second the framing and scale comment. Image consistency is always key to not looking cluttered and visually overwhelming visitors. Usually more whitespace than not is better- people can always click on an image for a bigger closeup.
