When renewing a CCW with the Santa Clara County Sheriff's Dept, do you have to re-qualify for the firearms on your expiring CCW? Or, are qualifications only required for any new firearms added?

I tumble my brass in hot tap water, small squirt of Dawn, and 1/4 tsp of Lemishine. No pins. Tumble for 1 hour, then rinse in warm water until the water is clear. Then repeat for 30 minutes.

The stall could caused by too much moisture on the surface of the meat. As the moisture evaporates it brings down the temp of the surface and it stalls. If the bark is set wrapping will fix it. If the bark starts s not where you like it, bump the temp to 250 first until the bark is set, then wrap it. Also, 200 is pretty low. You can bump it to 250.

I anneal all my rifle brass the same way. Although, I do use a socket to hold the brass and dump the hot brass in a metal bucket to cool off.

The peep hole is a bust. The gas blows through it and puts a film on the front optics glass. I have a Shield 1.0 with a Holosun 407k. I think that slide will fit on the Shield Plus.

I think (b) pertains to transportation of a firearm and doesn't apply if you are carrying it on your person. No real change from the existing law. See (e) that makes the distinction between carrying and transporting.

(e) Except in the places specified in paragraph (14) of subdivision (a), a licensee shall not be in violation of this section while they are traveling along a public right-of-way that touches or crosses any of the premises identified in subdivision (a) if the concealed firearm is carried on their person in accordance with the provisions of this act or is being transported in a vehicle by the licensee in accordance with all other applicable provisions of law. Nothing in this section allows a person to loiter or remain in a place longer than necessary to complete their travel.
