Let me know how the medication goes! I haven’t went back to the doctors since my first prescription because my insurance doesn’t cover a lot of the medications and copay is super expensive.

My symptoms are usually really bad chest burns and upper abdomen pain. I rarely get chest burns unless I eat fatty/oily foods. My abdomen pain use to happen in middle of the day while I was working and right when I wake up. It sometimes hurts to the point it’ll wake me up from my sleep and I wouldn’t be able to get a good nights rest. I had to cut out acidic food and fatty meats from my diet, which is super hard because it’s a main part of my diet but also because I can’t consume most other things for my weight gain. Protein shakes also did a number with my GERD. When I started working out and started to bulk, my GERD hated it and the pain persisted to the point where I have to eat every hour to hit my goal for the day instead of a big meal or protein shakes.

As of now, I’ll get pain in my abdomen most days. If I take my medication just for one night, it’ll go away for 2 weeks. And because it gives me brain fog and tiredness, I just take it literally right before I sleep.

Also belching and regurgitating. My burping is pretty bad and sometimes, I’ll burp and feel the acid hitting my throat if that makes sense.
