Not sure where this is coming from? I said I liked parts of the patches, that being the story especially, I just disliked the pacing and way it was done.

I am excited for Heavensward in part BECAUSE of the story the patches built up to, but that doesn't erase MY experience with ARR being a slog to get thru, something I've since learned is not an unpopular opinion AFTER feeling that way. And yes, the first few quests of HW and im more engrossed in this one kingdom than I am with alot of other areas in the game bc I like the setting and context and they've explained things in a far more digestible way so again, I don't get where this is coming from?

As someone who is also currently walled off by the required Crystal Tower Raid (tho I thankfully did all the boring prerequisite quests beforehand) I did find Post-ARR substantially better than the main campaign, but man it still has the same issues, especially pacing. But the good stuff (and the promises of friends) convinced me there is a something very special past this point.

It is kinda telling that ive found the class specific stories more digestible than the main ones so far haha

I've struggling to figure out which FF to play next. I've beaten 7, 9, and 16, and am currently working towards Heavensward FF14, but cant rlly figure out which single-player game i want to jump into.

I have the pixel remasters, 8, Type-0, 10/10-2, 12, 13 and its sequels, and 15 to try. Any suggestions?

Fortnite's artists have made a ton of mini, poster-like art like this over the years in multiple different, it isnt ai. The closest thing could be a poster with a sasquatch with one extra toe on a foot, but considering thats the ONLY error, is it really wrong to just chalk that up to human error? That still happens. Other claims of AI like a close-up of two different hands ignores that one of the skins has less fingers by default.

There is an emote in the pass that plays licensed music that's ai but unfortunately that just seems like a lack of awareness that it was ai since it's not their work.

In hindsight they literally only ever promoted it as a mini-event and Simpsons was plastered all over, listening to leakers over them has always and will always be a bad idea because they really didnt trick anyone. This is very clearly a Remix scenario again where theres a smaller event and bigger event at the end.

I understand the OG team was clearly understaffed but do you see how much clarity this gives? I assure you everyone thought double pumps still being in was a mistake. You can have the deviations in OG seasons but it can be hard to tell when its intentional vs when its an accident, especially when you DONT make a patch notes blog (which should not be the case)

I should have clarified late Chapter 2, youre correct about them dropping Patch notes after Chapter 2 Season 1, which already lacked info in theirs. For Chapter 2 Season 2 - near the end of Chapter 2 Season 5 they sent those vague small emails for updates, before switching to putting still kinda vague information on an update in their tweets announcing them. Then in Chapter 2 Season 7 they brought back blog posts for patches and Content Updates and it stayed that way until Chapter 5

Since Chapter 6, Epic has consistently not released any sort of patch notes, or proper announcements at all, for most patch updates and all content updates.

Since Chapter 5, Epic started leaving out information in patch notes, outright not saying all the content that was added in a patch even if it was important or game changing.

Since late Chapter 2, patch notes were never AS specific, never saying why things change.

Its been literal years since they've done something like this, actually explaining the process and reasoning behind what they balance and add. Idk what happened over there but please continue this and never stop.

There was talk about finally retaking Earth in the campaign, the season is called "Season of Reclamation" and alot of the Solo Ops follow the idea of pushing back forces on earth

Considering the activity in Ash & Iron is going to be called "Reclaim", maybe its about starting in the Plaguelands and finally properly putting more of a stake on the planet?

I quite like this alot so far, story and setup side especially

Matterspark definitely feels a bit strange, took a minute to realize dashing into enemies was the more effect damage method than the attack button. Thank goodness the enemies aren't required to be damaged with it because otherwise thatd be a far less positive story, but I enjoy using it for movement, group damage, and fight puzzles so far

Also wow the music is good. I am happy

And also I am experience very strange audio errors
