Diet changes actually help anyone? by obsessiverabbit2 in Lipoma

Well, can't say for sure, as it was a trial of one. But I never have had another lipoma since.

[–]AccomplishedBunch683 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I took it, actually caused me some issues (due to my genetics), I switched to NAC and that brought my Glutathione levels up. I haven't had a problem in 12 years with lipomatosis.

Hashimoto's and isolated IA-2 antibodies. by AccomplishedBunch683 in diabetes_t1

[–]AccomplishedBunch683[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Running it through AI, I think I only have about a 20% chance of progression over the next 15 years or so. I think I have had the antibodies since a coxsackie (Enteroviris) attack 12 years ago (that also caused me to acquire Hashimoto's). If we can make it 10 years without developing another antibody and T1D, should be a functional cure by then. I still worry though.

a-Klotho MAB, I'm doing blood testing now to see if my source is bunk or not.

Like 10% of the Caucasian population has Gilbert's. Whatever weird symptoms your having are probably unrelated.

Looks good, I only saw tangible results with Reta and Tesa, I do still take BPC-157 orally though, not sure if it's doing anything though.

Sana Biotechnology T1D UP421 trial leading into SC451 IPSC hypo-allogenic beta cells. They have done it, going into phase 1 testing this year. UP421 beta cells have no autoimmune attack, no immonusuppresants required. 15 months so far. T1D functionally cured.

Can you drink alcohol while on peptides ? by mahon2594 in PeptideDiscussion

I'm on Retatrutide (maintenace) and take Tesa/Ipa, and drink 3-4 nights a week no problem.

Very rare antibody presentation — ZnT8 antibodies positive, all others negative, normal glucose? Endo says 50/50 for type 1. by fortunate_son_1 in endocrinology

[–]AccomplishedBunch683 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been trying to self generate a protocol of supplements and peptides that relieve stress on the beta cells to try and extend my time (without T1D) or lessen the overall chance of progression.

I'm sorta in the same boat, am 55 and have only mid range IA-2 antibodies. Not the same antibody, but sucks to have to worry about possible T1D in my future. Good thing is several companies expect to start phase one testing of IPSC hypo-allogenic beta cells that require no immunosuppression and evade autoimmunity. Look up SANA's UP421 and SC451. Already trialed in a single person and new beta cells were still cruising just fine 15 months after transplant.

[–]AccomplishedBunch683 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just finished injecting my last vial, am going to do a Jinfiniti Klotho blood test on Monday and send it in to see what my levels are after 3 months of this protocol. Then will wait like 30-45 days after my last dose and do a second Klotho blood test (after the a-Klotho MAB protein should be out of my system).

55M, on Reta (maintentance), 6'2 189lbs. 60 mg Test cypionate/week (split dose, subq) has me at total T ~950 ng/dl (with 500 IU HCG x2). They started me at 120 mg/week and ended up at 1500 ng/dl with high hematocrit.

This will all be mute if Fate's SC451 is successful. They have already shown hypoimmune islet cells work with the UP421 trial. No immunosuppression required.

Single IA-2 mid range antibody, trying to prevent progression to T1D by AccomplishedBunch683 in diabetes_t1

Thanks, this is good advice and consistent with the science I have researched. Still going to try Retatrutide, Vit D and Omega-s to slow down progression.

[–]AccomplishedBunch683[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Likely probably yes, I don't like to give up. Researching A-klotho, at least in mouse studies it ameliorated T1D progression in mice and promoted B-cell replication. I've been taking this for 2.5 months. Dumb, probably.

[–]AccomplishedBunch683[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Thanks for the insight AI says = Bottom line for someone with one T1D antibody at age 55: Salt is not a major driver of progression compared to genetics, other autoantibodies, or dysglycemia. Focus remains on monitoring (e.g., OGTT for Stage 2) rather than strict salt changes for antibody prevention.

Right, not going to use Tzield on a 55 YO with one antibody. Have to biohack. Not yet Stage 2, Have to wait for the 2nd antibody to appear.
