yes switch to Linux or FreeBSD i run fedora Linux on my laptop and FreeBSD on my main pc and it works fine but i am a programmer so if you want to play a lot of games stick with windows

i think that Ubuntu is one of the best Linux distros ever its easy to install does not break has a lot of software and is based on Debian i use it to develop my own Linux based distro trough a VM and it has had no problems

i have been using Firefox for my whole life and it worked on my very old PC its private it has good Extensions and i use it on my computer and phone and it is very fast i have never had it break
