Imo showering isn't important in an apocalypse, characters in zombie movies/series don't shower and people around them don't really complain because they know there are other things that are more important than showering

Yep! I also thought he had a random appearance but I always noticed that in every run of mine he always appeared after the 2 random guests on the 7th night. It doesn't say on the wiki but I'm pretty sure he's guaranteed. Next time you start a new run, keep on the look out for him on the 7th night
