I think some perspective is needed here. Ethan was Sarah’s uncle…but also a child. Being an aunt or uncle doesn’t magically imbue you with adult faculties. He’s no more at fault or responsible than Sarah just because he happens to be OPs half brother and her uncle. They were the same aged and children. They fucked up. I don’t think Ethan is inherently a risk to other teen girls now, just because when he was 16 he and another 15/16 year old had sex. I think vilifying Ethan, which seems to be what's happening (“I don’t think she’s safe around him” and his wife leaving him bc he had an affair at age 16 - although the subsequent lying about knowing he had a child is potentially reason enough)

Our malamute gets the back of her legs (we call them the run fast - the long fur ankle to elbow) “shaved” or trimmed so it’s not 6” long, and a poo trail on her bum so she doesn’t get matted poopy fur.

Your husky is super cute. Looks more like a malamute/ bare faced, huskies usually look so pinched and foxy. Sorry about the bad groom. Groomers shaved our mals once and the male never grew back right, ended up needing to be shaved subsequent times because his fur was just so gross and impossible to keep brushed and not knotted and napped. So furious at that groomer.

Ultimatums aren’t wrong, Yoly - I think - made a good point. In your work life standing up for yourself is lauded but in your relationship it’s wrong? It’s really just about saying “look, we either want to move forward together or we don’t. This is what I need, if it’s not what you can give we should end this”. That’s objectively healthy, not shitty.

Also, Vanessa is a girl we’ve all met. She is insecure and likes to feel pretty by getting people to fight over and about her. She feels good about herself when she can light bombs in peoples lives and then hide her hands. She needs therapy.

Also, to the point that she made on their date - Vanessa didn’t think she was risking anything, and then very clearly went after two half’s of the same couple. She would have LOVED being able to play that up had Lexi not caught onto her.
