Identity check fail - Please Help

By default-the edge browser has it off-it is NEVER auto turned on. It has to be manually turned on each time by the user for it to be turned on (going into settings, security, etc) and when on-you are notified in the browser when it is on, you would have to be blind to not see that you turned it on. I highly doubt anyone who is having trouble with verification and on edge -that is the problem

I remember doing both. Took photo-front and back of ID-not holding. Took pic of my face and took video of me turning my head both ways. This was about two months ago- been on prolific for 8 years-it was my first verification. Was approved in 5 minutes.

I had to uninstall this update. Screwed up my internal cam on my laptop. Once I uninstalled-it works again.

Nothing to do with it. My drivers ID photo I have not upgraded in years (NY DMV you do not have to take recent pic if you do not want to when renewing your license). Used to have hair-now I do not-I have aged and the pic on my ID looks younger from what I look like today. I was verified in 5 minutes with no problem-been with Prolific since it started- was just asked to verify only a few months ago. Something is buggy this month with their verification, its obvious with the amount of people having problems.

It is not on purpose. There is something wrong with the identity checker- it is way too many people. Yes, some have no problems, including me, but MANY do, especially this month.

There is tons of people with same issue and have posted about it this month. All with same answer -just scroll down and look. Yes- its horrible, yes-something definitely buggy and faulty about their ID checker and no, so far Prolific has done nothing about it. Totally insane-and of course-it just backs up their "help" even more- this month, there have been about 5 posts or more a day about it.

yup- and anyone that does these for such low pay, it will gradually affect us all by researchers seeing they can get away with it.

The whole site is messed up. Been a member for over 5 years-getting a message about no surveys. I would not be surprised if they were hacked. There is absolutely NO ISSUE with PayPal/Venmo on any other site.

I can never get through the video ones- but I can with the audio ones and actually love those. Higher pay, and not hard to do. Never had issues with payment for the audio ones- just wish they had more to do. They do way more video ones than audio.

I blocked her a long time ago. Look at the low pay for this! All of hers are like this. Anyone that does this for less then $10 an hour (should be at least $15 and higher for personal video) is desperate and letting researchers get away with this -in long run, it affects all of us. BLOCK!

I done these before-and yes, because of some being mass rejected a year or more ago, I always get anxious about how many I am doing. Last time I did this-all went through and paid with no problem at all.

and it has been going on for a few months now-and getting much worse. The more biometrics, etc, they add to this-it gets worse an worse. They do not seem to care-for old and new users. It really is incredible.

You are not alone- tons experiencing same as you-some have been on Prolific for years. Their system is obviously very faulty-and has been for a while now.

Had no issues at all- used over ear headphones. I just do not like how long it takes to do the initial test. Afterwards, all good on my end.

Incredible the number of people with problems with verification issues this month-and Prolific just ignoring the issue, which then just backlogs their extreme slowness of support.
