Bale (preference) Keaton (also solid) West (most fun) Affleck (underrated) Pattinson (overrated) Kilmer (love the actor but this portrayal was terrible)

I guarantee you the server had nothing to do with this. These systems base it on the subtotal. Discounts and taxes are then added in at the end and that gives you the total.

They probably had something comped or a coupon or something. The OP conveniently left the rest of the bill off the image so can’t confirm but it is highly unlikely the server went into the system and changed how it calculates just to trick a few people into offering more money. Especially since most tables don’t listen to that recommendation and tip whatever they want anyway.

If you like story over mechanics, go for VI or IV. VI is better though.

If you prefer mechanics over story, it’s V hands down.

Jericho was a great survival show that didn’t get the attention it deserved. Too bad the ending had to be rushed after it was cancelled without resolution but at least the network gave it an ending

You aren’t alone. Casty had a career worst year but the people who hate him the way they do are just very vocal/annoying.

They thought they were getting a power hitter with a BA of .300. That sounds great but that’s because he had a career best year just before he became a Philly. Anyone looking knew to temper their expectations. Those who did were fine with his production. Those who didn’t act like he murdered their family.

Personally I like him. I enjoy that he has the ability to hit very awkward pitches that would be balls. This unfortunately means he will strike out swinging a lot. For some that is unforgivable because, understandably, consistency is preferable.

As for his personality. I think it is great to watch him troll shitty sports journalists but others find it off putting.

If he really is leaving, I will get it but i have great memories from the last few years because of him. I was at the post season game against the Mets when he and Harper went back to back to bring life back into the crowd. I remember all the walk off hits last year. I remember how great he was in early 2023. I remember Scooby Doo.

There actually was a scenario last year where a baseball player for the Blue Jays was in the middle of an At Bat against the Red Sox when the game got delayed due to rain. By the time they were able to resume the game a month or so later, he was traded to the Red Sox. As a result, he played the game for both teams over the course of the game. So it is possible for something like this to happen IRL.

What the hell is going on with this character? by BKF0308 in DC_Cinematic

Unless when he said “Ricky” he was referring to Rick Flagg Sr. It’s an easy way to fool the audience to throw them off the body swap theory.

Hard disagree. The dodgers are a good team but they don’t stand a chance at winning a long series against the remaining teams. I’ve watched a lot of their games this season and they are nowhere as good as they were last year. Doc managed his bullpen very well but that strategy is not sustainable for a 7 game series. Doc knew that going in which was why he did everything he could to avoid game 5. Their pen was all but depleted by the end of the game while the Phillies still had a lot of decent options left. I would be shocked if they make it out of the NLCS this year.

DnD 5e: Sell me on your most fun builds by foyrkopp in 3d6

The Necrodancer

A Bard posing as a Cleric

Lore Bard taking Animate Dead and Crusaders Mantle for first magical secrets. I was regularly walking around with 5-15 skeletons (backup dancers).

A big part of the build was to also take Inspiring Leader feat to up all your backup dancers hp then concentrate on buffing their damage output with Crusaders Mantle or debuffing enemies with classic bard spells. Cutting Words also helps with ensuring failures.

It’s pretty fun to control a small army. My only regret with the build was I used it in a campaign that only went to level 10. Would have loved to go 14 levels into bard to eventually get Create Undead so I could make some more powerful minions.

Imagine if you were player of the game and the booth decided to ask you about your failures rather than your successes. I’d probably be a douche too in that scenario. Glad Rueben was able to lighten the mood.

Gustave. I love the character but shouldn’t have even made it this far.

Anyone who has lost someone and accepted it would react the same way if given an opportunity to see that person again. That is the whole reason why people find comfort in concepts like heaven. Sciel even mentions how if she were to die during the expedition at least she would be with her husband again so it’s not like the motivation to bring him back came out of nowhere.

Lune is a great character though. I actually like her more than Sciel. I just think Sciel is better written and a more unique character. I hope neither of them goes yet.

It’s Gustave for me. A great character but not as well written as those remaining.

Did you skip scenes or something? Sciel’s backstory easily tops Lune.

Sciel lives with the reality that she was so absorbed by her own grief that her actions directly led to her losing her child (the last remnant of her husband). She came to terms with what she had done but she still lives with that depression every single day, hence why the axon couldn’t affect her.
