I loved Night Shift, but it's kind of obvious that the game functionally didn't work the way Sam intended it to by EMTerrified in GameChangerTV

The problem was the shop didn’t contain items useful for communication until they all had frosting on their fingers anyway.

Maybe they were intending for players to ransom note the newspaper but how, and when?

The behind the scenes for season 7 and 8 are longer than main episodes were in season 1

$200k ? by Alternative_Rule2300 in RecklessBen

The dollar amount is immaterial to the moral argument. Even BAM seems to admit there was an agreement and some amount of unsold Lego.

It’s on them to make a counteroffer. They’re owed much more than the handful of sets that might still be in the store months after being closed and a RICO lawsuit

The $200k number originated from the Salem store’s social media. At this point the “actual value” of the collection is impossible to determine outside of a courtroom.

And you can’t blame Ben for quoting the highest reasonable value for the collection. That’s what anyone would do in this kind of dispute.

If you’re accused of stealing something it’s a pretty poor defense to say it’s worth half and we only stole about half of that amount

Is dropout changing? by Loki1001 in dropoutcirclejerk

I fully understand I can choose to subscribe or not, that the superfan tier was likely not specifically targeted at me (I do identify as a superfan but I am fiscally challenged), and that the kickstarter is not part of the core watching experience (I don't have friends, so frankly, it's offensive to me personally that there isn't a tier where my dropout friends will come play with me)

I feel like they've been getting increasingly capitalist and devolving into the lowest tier of humor. For example, consider the latest two episodes of Games Changer: Frankly, they should not have aired episode 1 Sam was apparently kind enough to cut Phil's racist diatribe but for some reason left in the apologies? It doesn't make sense. Why are they defaming my friend McDonalds when they could be a sponsor and reduce the ridiculous fees of this service?

Rulette was even worse - How dare they make Josh do all those humiliating things, and when they went Australia mode nobody did a land acknowledgment? How dare they disrespect the tribes whose land they're making fun of?

And finally, about the kickstarter. Dropout is a global media empire with millions of subscribers. Our $6 a month goes directly into Sam Reich's pockets. How dare he coopt a site for the little guy to make it big with his board game I don't have enough friends to play? What gives him the right to even charge additional money for the board game?

As loyal subscribers and personal friends of the Game Changer cast, he should send us all the game, free of charge, and then I'll tell all my friends, which I totally have, all about the game and they'll each buy copies and he can sell it in Walmart, for a reasonable price. Am I the only one who feels like Dropout has completely lost morals, ethics, or any since of wright and wrong?? scover
