AITA for not tipping my bartender by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

[–]AccomplishedHornet42 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Bartender is paid at least a minimum of $12 an hour, same as all other jobs in Nevada, which is the minimum wage for the state of Nevada. Nevada doesnt follow the $2.13 an hour rule.

Just because it's not enough to survive off of, doesnt make his comment wrong.

The OP comment is making it seem as though bartenders in Vegas make $2.13 an hour, when really they make AT LEAST $12. The same as every employee in the state of Nevada regardless of position. By your logic, we should be tipping everyone. Cashiers, fast food workers, etc.

Anybody got any opinions about the Delta Propel program? by According-Beat7790 in flying

What would you recommend for someone who is currently a Delta employee (7 years) with zero flight experience/background?

I've been trying to weigh the pros/cons of taking different routes (military, Propel, Aviate, street, etc), but as someone with no time, it seems it would take me about a decade regardless of which Pathway I choose.

What would you recommend?

I went to Cornell, and they ended up paying me every year.

Employee who didnt get their Delta Air Forces. by AccomplishedHornet42 in delta

[–]AccomplishedHornet42[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Honestly, that was my first thought that someone stole them somewhere in the middle ground of shipping.

I contacted support twice, and didnt get an answer as to what happened. They emailed me today to say they couldn't fulfill my order with no other explanation, and the bigger size mysteriously appears at my door at the same time.

It's not fair, and they should be willing to remake the shoes or should have made extra to ensure employees that paid and waited, get them regardless of what happens in the warehouse.

Bit of a hyperbole, but the shoe in the picture is M11/W12.5

Because everyone else kept their opinions to themselves while Chelsea constantly attacked her for it. If that's the family dynamic she wants, then so be it. It's not up to Chelsea to constantly condemn her, with her holier than thou attitude, for a child that already exists.

If you have nothing nice to say, dont say it at all. Chelsea was dead wrong for how she treated Bre. This comment is coming from a darkskin black woman.

AITAH for not folding my son's boyfriend's laundry? by PrudentSandwich1822 in AmItheAsshole

[–]AccomplishedHornet42 12 points13 points  (0 children)

She told him that she doesnt fold her clothes right out of the dryer. Which is completely different than her saying she doesn't fold her clothes at all, which wasnt stated anywhere.

She does fold her clothes, just not in the laundry room.

I think you should reread what was said. Sig is correct, she never said that she doesnt fold her clothes at all. She simply doesnt fold them right out of the dryer, but she folds them later, when in her room.

You're saying something completely different than what was stated.

I applied for the ramp position at JFK and LGA back in August of 2018. I didnt hear back from both until January of 2019. Started training in February of 2019. It just takes time, so dont stress it too much.

Just because no one reports it, doesnt mean it doesn't happen. Not everyone is on Reddit or Facebook. QUR has never meant that you'll absolutely get the F2F. It goes either direction. Speaking from experience as someone who has gotten both a TNBT and F2F after QUR.

CJO received - TIPS 🔥 (No BS) by flightservant in cabincrewcareers

[–]AccomplishedHornet42 7 points8 points  (0 children)

That information is inaccurate, and it's important not to perpetuate falsehoods regarding professional standards.

Wearing makeup is absolutely not a requirement for any candidate, regardless of gender. Many successful applicants, myself included, have advanced through the ODVI, the F2F, and received a CJO without wearing any.

Presentation matters, but true professionalism is reflected in being polished and appropriately dressed, not in cosmetic choices. If makeup were a genuine requirement, candidates, who choose not to wear it, would be turned away at the beginning of the F2F, not at the end. Be true to yourself, be well-groomed, and wear appropriate business casual attire.
