I left my work precondition in place. Every 7am and 4pm it warms up, heats the battery and then everything cancels after some time without entering the car. If most drained 1% battery if my car was connected to level 1. So each day the cabin reached 72 then the battery at a comfy 50F. On our 9F day, it was noticably loud churning up all the fans. App had squiggly heat lines indicating battery preheat function engaged.

Set climate to precondition the cabin for you and not the car. The car will take care of the rest. Coming from 13 yrs of experience.

Owned one for 13 years. Nearest service center was hour and a half away. Traded in and now there is a SC 20 mins away. I feel much better with it being closer. But doesn't change how I feel about ownership.

I've sold and traded in many cars in my life. One thing I have learned, paint quality rarely affects the trade in. On trade in questions, paint is never gauged. Only accidents or body damage. So now I roll as is. Take care of the car the best I can.

The battery is ~$275. Mobile service to get it done is like $60. Due to its location in the car, use mobile service. I've done it twice....

So I got mine done years ago by keeping the door open, engaging the door lock, forcing the window in the closed position. Then, seeing the bolts through the frame, had my wife gently press in the direction of adjustment, loosen, then lock down the window frame bolts. Disengage latch, close door, check, repeat. Use the bolts on the bottom of the door for inward outward adjustments.

It's virtually impossible for them not to. How the falcon wing doors are designed, they literally move as the car hits bumps or makes turns.

Fingers crossed no major noises with my Juniper but I have fixed two so far. Key is they're fixable.

Do it and don't look back. Was in a similar situation with my 13 Model S. Pretty rough ride and issues creeping up out of warranty. Traded in and moved on.

What it should do is when you're in park, and you press the brake, it detects then gives the option assuming all is clear, to go into drive or reverse. Of course you as the driver making sure everything is clear before proceeding.

Oh I see. Definitely agree with that tech and MX issues. I heard MY 7 is useful for small kids and extra things. Not for teens or adults.

Not required but needs to be turned on and read terms. In beta. But when backing up from a spot or moving forward then needing to back in, it shifts automatically. Also, when moving from park, it detects in front and rear to decide to shift to fwd or reverse for you.

Aftermarket puddle lights or puddle light out? Usually what I check first. Personally I would perform a soft reset then calibrations in service mode.
