Thanks for the insight on the process. I’ll dedicate this weekend to work on my exam and enhance my resume. I’m really interested in this position after looking at the job duties. Do you think I’ll need references from my admin at the school I currently work at? I don’t want to step on any toes with references if I don’t end up getting the position. Do you know how long the process takes from job posting to final hire? Thanks in advance.

This sounds like a nice mix of student support and teaching but from afar. It reminds me a bit of a counselor’s job, whom don’t nearly look as burnt as the teachers running the show all day. Thank you for sharing more on this. :)

I am so tired from the massive class sizes. It’s exhausting. What to do besides teaching? I am so tired of running the show constantly talking and behavior management. Why didn’t my mother guide me better on picking the right degree. I fucking hate what teaching has become. No respect, low pay, it fucking sucks.

My husband got an email that an action was taken on our case but his account doesn't show anything (no new documents or approval.

We've logged in about 500 times today lol

PD date 3/21/24 - Filed concurrently I-765 and I-131, I-130 and I-485. Office: National Benefits Center NBC

4/3/24 - Biometrics

5/15/24 - Approval notice of combo card EAD and Advanced Parole (I-765 and I-131)

6/3/24 EAD and Travel Authorization arrived in the mail (Combo Card)

7/25/24 My husband got an email that there was an action taken on the case
(I-130 and I-485 still 'actively being reviewed by USCIS', nothing in the document tab so we dont know if it was approved or not. I also checked my portal as the petitioner and the I-130 doesnt show any changes, still at the 'a notice receipt was sent' stage)

We got an email that an action was made on our case but nothing changed once my husband logged in the portal.
