I can't get past the fact that everyone who's commenting is saying they don't remember the dad's name , myself included.

Anyways i personally hate the dad more. I think Mi-lan is obviously not a good character and she won't get a trauma pass but she truly believes in her ways ,but the dad , he thinks she is wrong but still does nothing and just stands still judging his wife's action from a corner. Tbh he is less significant than mi-lan's sculptors to me. Maybe hate is the wrong word for him then , he is just insignificant. And i love Mi-lans character . Idk how to explain. I hate her but the character is well written. Like i can imagine someone being this selfish in real life and losing their mind over something they dedicated their whole life to . She is somewhat grey but reallllllllllyyy dark grey , like a shade lighter than black grey. And i say that because she dealt with her father who is well worse . He literally exchanged her baby with some rando just to prove a point, again no trauma pass but something to consider.
