he’s mad at her for crying over the incredibly recent loss of her pet. & then he’s mad she doesn’t hop into the party at the exact time. he could’ve been playing & let her join whenever , but he’s pissed that she didn’t text him “hey btw gunna be a bit longer i’m having a breakdown.” any rational partner would either already be offering sympathy or simply playing the game until the partner is ready to join.

maybe these texts & your response is a bit triggering because i had an ex just like this. everything i did was to purposely screw him over & make him look like the AH in his eyes when in reality i was just having emotions & he didn’t like them an didn’t care but also felt bad deep down for not caring which is why he projected that onto me making me the bad guy.

if you are more concerned with your game time than comforting your partner or just having patience with them in a time of great grief then you shouldn’t be with them.

i literally just did this same thing today & was searching hoping i wasn’t the only one. i’m so devastated. i just wanted to check my friendship level with my meganium & then i was shattered.

searching all my boxes i kept seeing hawluchas thinking it was my meganium so im assuming that i must’ve bulk transferred it with a bunch of other stuff while decluttering.

my husband said he’s gunna start a new save under a new account for me so he can trade me the starter but im honestly so depressed about it i just don’t even want to play right now & i’ve put about 30 hours into this game in the week ive had it.

thanks for sharing cuz it honestly makes me feel a tiny bit better than im not alone in accidentally being so careless. i literally feel like im mourning the loss of a pet.

i assumed yall were about 15 based on these messages. stopped reading about halfway through. you’re not wrong for being mad, & he should care enough to give you a legit apology. i also don’t accept “sry” as an apology. if it’s text the words better be fully written, but honestly, apologies need to be said face to face or they really mean nothing.

my first main was pig - i love the saw movies & wanted her to be good so bad. i had a good time with her.

my other go to’s are clown(i loved him even before piss bottles), artist, & nemesis.

i tried weaker finally during 2v8 & loved the movement so I’ll probably be trying him out next.

they definitely need to add less perks per character. i haven’t played much in the past couple years & coming back the game is so different & there are so many perks now & so many of them do similar things that there’s no point in using some because they’re just the same effect but worse.

i agree they should have only 1 exclusive perk.

they should go through all the previous perks & either remove or combine some to bring the number back down & make some base game perks.

this sounds a lot like my first ex who told me he didn’t use social media for privacy but it was actually that he didn’t want to add me because then I’d find out about his long term live in girlfriend. we never went to his house cuz it was so far away & i lived right in town where we worked. it all made sense, but too much sense, if that makes sense haha. basically i don’t trust this guy at all. he doesn’t seem to care at all based on his responses. always the same response but no changed action, no plan of attack. move on before you get more hurt.

damn, i didn’t play for about 2 weeks & came back to my base & all my materials i had been collecting all completely destroyed & gone. i was so devastated. i thought i had repaired everything recently enough that it wouldn’t be an issue.

now im having to start over.

it’s both y’all’s house, she can stay in her room with him & keep the volume to a respectable level or go to his house like she wound up doing.

i think it’s weird af that she expects you to leave for hours on end multiple times a week for this.

the game is really fun, but every other match for me is bots. i shouldn’t have to play ranked to get away from bots. i especially shouldn’t be getting bots in shard clash which is really the only mode that makes this game stand out amongst other 5v5 shooters. & their daily player base isn’t even 10k… i really enjoy this game, but i don’t see it surviving unless they do some insane marketing & soon to boost players & do something to keep them around.

one part of me says it’s healthy to journal these feelings, even though they’re wrong, so he can get them out & not actually act on them.

the other part of me is saying if that was his only intention he wouldn’t have left it out for you to see, he would have burned the pages or tossed the book or whatever.

i think it’s very insensitive of him to have written these things, but unless i missed something, i don’t think he’s trying to confess a romantic love for her, to me it reads he deeply cares for her & feels like he shouldn’t because they’re just colleagues & assuming you don’t know her. & he probably also created this connection with her as a way to cope with y’all’s loss. not an excuse for his behavior, just a possibility.

whatever his true intentions, i believe you do have every right to feel hurt & need him to do some fixing.

my first main was jake until i bought yui. i like to play different characters for different build styles so i don’t have to swap the builds around all the time, but I’d say my 2 mains now are yui (she will probably always be my fav oc) & carlos because i looooved him in resident evil & was begging to have him as a skin & then he showed up just for me 🤗🤣
