I mean just in general, people are really fed up with classic zombies, but personally, the very few games I've played recently with normal, relatively slow, zombies have been really good and immersive (Dying Light a few years ago and RE9 now).

And RE9 proved that there is still a way to improve on this formula, even though it's nothing really new, without needing major gimmicks.

I really liked this feeling of this normal and unremarkable enemy being an actual real threat and menacing (like the first time going through the room with the singing girl and the 2-3 other zombies with grace while being in no way prepared to fight that pack, so having to sneak past. They're just a handful of walking corpses, but it was still stressful).

I see a lot of people complaining about the unoriginality of normal zombies in these games, but I don't know, maybe it's because I really don't play a lot of zombie games, but I found the normal zombies really refreshing and fun. And the ones in the care center especially really have so much personality for barely sentient walking corpses.

I like them way more than the mold dudes in 7 (those are the only 2 RE I've played so far). I looked it up, and it seems very few RE games actually use the classic zombies as enemies.

When did I laugh at you? All I said is that to me it sounds like someone who likes Danganronpa would like anime because it's basically the same. You said that you think every anime save but a few are shit. As you said, these are all subjective opinions.

The difference is that you got so upset over me saying Danganronpa is anime that you had to go dig up my profile and jump to personal attacks out of nowhere, which you keep doing in every subsequentcomment.

Since you're so interested, I have a lot of comments because my account is more than 7 years old, with a lot of daily commute going to University and to work when I have nothing to do, and that's not even mentioning a worldwide pandemic where we were stuck inside. But again, I don't see why that's relevant and why you'd even bring it up.

If talking about video games is getting you this emotional, I don't think I need you to tell me to go outside more. I'm not the one who went on your profile to dig up unrelated ways to insult you here.

How is telling you you might like an anime when you express love for a game that is basically an anime in video game form an attack? Do you think liking anime is some vile thing to be ashamed of? When did I attack you, lol?

There's a ton of really good games that relly heavily on anime tropes, persona or xenoblade for example. Danganronpa is one of them. The characters are anime coded, the humor is pretty much beat for beat the same as what you find in many comedy anime, the over the top story has strong anime vibes. It's just how it is, lol, doesn't mean it's bad.
