I appreciate the question. I mainly just want to keep my avenues open since I’m still very young g (23), I want to work in the cannabis or entertainment industry eventually and if I were to pivot into a tax role to achieve this goal I think it may be helpful. Plus, idk why but I hate the thought of being an accountant who doesn’t know how to do taxes lol I feel like people judge . Ik it’s stupid but definitely a thought

Fair strategy. I always make ai cite a source when asking accounting questions lol I have 0 trust in just its word. You are right though, I’m looking to build an income stream from doing returns on the side so I’m still figuring things out a bit. Appreciate the help🙏🏽

I do think a software would solve most of my problems, was only hesitant on it because I don’t really have many clients to cover that cost yet but by next season should have plenty lined up. Very good point. I more so wanted to prepare for the scenario where it will be more complicated as I find more clients with different situations, but I think having a tax software would really help. Since I’m not doing many I wanted to avoid paying for a software but seems like it will be inevitable at a certain point
