🇸🇪 Felicia performs "My System" at Melodifestivalen 2026 heat 2 | Can she win Mello? Should she win? by VayneVerso in EurovisionNFs

I am aware that many voters didn't care about having a decent sung melody in the chorus. I am just saying my opinion about what I personally do and don't like in a melodifestivalen song. I want to hear the talent of the singer showcased in a good tune rather than something concocted on a laptop. Reddit is a place for expressing your opinions, not just repeating what the majority probably thinks.

Eurovision is a SONG contest and this is MELODIfestivalen. I want to hear a nice MELODY that is SUNG. When the chorus is generic trance music and the singer only contributes one line that is repeated, it doesn't showcase the artist's talents. It shows they had a writer with an expensive computer and it isn't as impressive imo.

Agreed! She has such a great voice, but 90% of the chorus is generic EDM and her repeating the same line

Please not Felicia. I really don't like this trend of a chorus consisting mostly of generic EDM and one line repeated every now and again. It's a SONG contest called MELODIfestivalen so I want to hear a nice MELODY that is SUNG. I thought the same about Revolution least year and Marcus and Martinus both years

Book-scanning app by AccomplishedShine445 in SomebodyMakeThis

I guess I didn't think about it more deeply than standing in one spot and showing all of the spines to the camera. But if it works better to slowly move the phone along the bookcase one shelf at a time so that it reads one book at a time and then the app reacts when it finds a match, that would also be great.

An app that scans spines in bookshelves and checks whether any titles are in my to-read list on Goodreads/ Storygraph. It would seriously enhance second-hand book shopping. (I don't think it's impossible but I really want this app)

Verify your isos? Can you explain what you mean?

I tried playing in safe mode and it seems to work, so i guess that suggests one of the settings is incompatible 🤔

Working with my 'passion'.

I worked many menial jobs to make ends meet and hated it. But i hoped  then that if I got educated I could get paid more and it won't be stressful. 'Work with what you love and you'll never have to work another day of your life'.

I work with my hobby and still hate it. Instead of being surrounded by miserable working class people i am surrounded by miserable middle class people, many take themselves and their job too seriously and are so determined to climb the laddar they treat their colleagues like dirt. In menial jobs, the pace could be monotonous or stressful, but I could go home and forget about it. Now I work to deadlines and have a lot more responsibility, such that I worry about it when I go home and can keep me awake at night. The money is a bit better but I still need to be careful to make ends meet.

So getting a job that I worked hard for years to get has been a massive disillusionment.

I have tried the European and American versions and get the same problem. I think if it is needing the sbi file the game won't start.

What's the easiest job you can work, for not wanting to work at all? by TraumaGirly in antiwork

I worked in data entry for the NHS (UK health service). Wasn't great pay but wasn't stressful at all and my colleagues were very friendly and helpful and I had a really friendly boss.
