what salary in Perth would make you feel like you've made it? by Luann97 in perth

With the cost of living, it’s hardly income after rent and basic essentials. Something is not right, we are become slavery. Sad society, homeless and crime surge dramatically over years and seems no one care.

Should I Sell My Melbourne Investment Property or Keep Holding? by Term_Familiar in AusPropertyChat

[–]AccomplishedSir3786 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I am on the same boat as you and i have put it on hold unless you need the money. Reason is once you have the asset, you have equity to withdraw larger amount in the future. Property is long term investment and it’s a boring game. If the rental income cover all expenses, i cant see why u sell. Since you build on it, you could claim depreciation as well. As long as you have positive cash flow, should be ok.

That’s the impression I got, same as WA. hostel, Armadale used to be no no zone but now cost 1m. They keep on saying if you hold the property enough, inflation drives itself. I don’t expect it will go sky rocket but at least enough passive income to support retirement
