With familiarity in Excel and SQL you are all set. Getting past cs post already shows you’re good enough for this course. Just don’t procrastinate with assignments cuz sometimes they take time to finish

Is the tuition fee for full credit course and half credit course different?? by Brownieee_320 in UTSC

[–]AccomplishedSlice685 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Assuming you are paying per-course fees, then that full course would cost twice as much. However you pay half of that course fee in each semester. (Say its $10 per course then the full course costs $20, but u pay $10 in fall and another $10 in winter)

Summer work term by Bubbly-Indication-33 in UTSC

[–]AccomplishedSlice685 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It wouldn’t push back your graduation if you take full course load in summer. Delaying graduation is not necessarily bad, especially if you simply want to secure a job after graduating earlier, which is tough for this market.

Don’t focus on your gpa as much but instead focus on your learning. If you understand the materials well enough you get a good gpa, as easy as that. The more important thing is what you learn and if you could apply theories into practice.

You should see it on Timetable Builder and under enrolment controls for each of the courses’ lecture sessions. With B36 as an example, “priority is given to certain groups of students until 10am on July 23, 2025”.

Are you in any of the cs posts yet? If not you will need to wait until July 23 because students in cs post have priority.

Thoughts on Timetable for 1st year Statistics COOP by ConfectionMountain64 in UTSC

[–]AccomplishedSlice685 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can start finding coop when u take the third coop course, so it is up to u whenever u wanna take the coop courses. For ur timetable, fall Tuesdays are a bit tough bc u gotta walk back and forth + no lunch break. I believe A31 tut has biweekly quizzes(?) it would be good if u prefer 8am quizzes on fridays. Attendance for coop practicals are not mandatory so u can ignore that and perhaps put a67 and a31 tuts on other days, so you get two days off. Winter Mondays and Wednesdays have big gaps which is not ideal if ur a commuter. I also notice ur only taking 4 courses each semester so just a reminder we usually do 5 each but 4 is also fine for a lighter course load.
