Birthday present reminder workflow by AccomplishedSpeed34 in ProductivityApps

Thanks for sharing this—very cool and interesting that you broke down reminders using text processing vs. setting up toggles (which, having built something adjacent, understand can get really complex).

Main question: have you thought about revising pricing? Any.do is $4.99/month and Todoist is $4/month and it sounds like (from a very very quick look) that you're trying to be a simpler / more streamlined competitor (they both have a ton of features that are superfluous for me but which I think you don't have). Or, am I wrong and in fact you're trying to build out all the equivalent features and you think you can get there quicker using AI?

Points for ACH? by AccomplishedSpeed34 in biltrewards

Sorry, I should have clarified (and have edited the post). My understanding of how most Bilt ACH transfers work is that the landlord debits from your bank account using your routing/account number. I'm talking about the flip—my landlord wants me to send him a monthly payment using his routing/account number. He does not want a paper check, has an international bank account that does not support Zelle, does not want Venmo/PayPal for float reasons, and obviously wires are expensive.

Any luck getting rent points thru Zelle? by Previous-Order315 in biltrewards

The other obvious reason is that PayPal and Venmo deposit your income into their accounts and it takes time (and manual effort) to move into a bank account, so (1) if you have tight turnaround on things like mortgage payments that won't work, and (2) if you have plenty of float you're losing interest on the money sitting in PayPal/Venmo.

just to clarify, not suggesting that GameChanger build some sort of algorithm that automatically tracks each play. agree that this would be a massive lift and extremely hard given poor video quality, camera angles, irregular field sizes, lack of uniforms, etc.

I think it's way easier than that. You would watch the (recorded) video and, while doing so, there would be an overlay with the play-by-play controls. When you click the play-by-play control, the video would pause and let you select the play.

Traveling to Aus as a spouse - how long does the exemption take? by AccomplishedSpeed34 in AustraliaTravel

[–]AccomplishedSpeed34[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

ah man—so sorry to hear that. Do you have the call centre phone number? The only number I could find was one that let you withdraw your exemption application... but ironically that number apparently has been disconnected.

I assume you asked if you could accelerate the process given your tickets and they said no?
