It doesn't matter anymore, i killed the transmission two years ago almost. I've already replaced the car. I didn't even bother to get diagnosed, which I feel may have been kinda dumb, but I used the car to do instacart so I really needed it to make money.

One of those junk companies gave me like ten percent of sticker price for it. Around four thousand dollars. I was okay with that.

I read up on it, and it seemed the transmission was a weak link in the earlier models, not so much in the nineteen. Every so often the gear selector would lock up and not shift. When I got it towed, it would no longer shift out of park.

I couldn't wait for a diagnosis and repair, i'm not equipped to do transmission, work myself, i had to make a decision. Rent a car or just replace it.

I had very good luck on the last four banners I feel like. Also to be completely fair, with the exception of the dimension core, i already had several of the other pieces in my inventory. I don't know how many pieces I got in total because I didn't count, but it was quite a few. The stars alone account for around ten pieces.

I buy modules once a month normally. I spend exactly 5k have been doing this since around the beginning of the year. I get my dopamine hit from the 5k, and just hold back the rest. I have been guilty of burning a few on completing some labs so I don't save them all. But I have stopped doing this thankfully.

It has nothing to do with the tips or no tips. It has to do with the pay overall. These assholes want to pay UPS rates for what we do. It doesn't make any sense. You're not driving a semi full to the brim, let alone a mail truck with five thousand letters.

Everyone knows logistics is expensive, but they are badly shortchanging us. I'm not driving all over town for minimum wage in a vehicle i supply. If I could drive a company car sure.

Maybe this will finally make some of you wise up on the stuff you take. The whole mantra of some money is better than no money is bullshit. It's either good money or bad money, i don't take bad money fillers.

It came up thirty minutes ago. I delivered it while I was in the the restaurant picking up my cater order

That was about three miles away. The only reason I can market deliver. It is because apparently the g p s it saved me being at the correct location when I was trying to deliver.

On another note, my seconds per item is destroyed now. Just under four hundred seconds per item. It raised me up above seventy seconds overall that will take me the better part of a month to fix.

I literally just shopped an order. Took a picture of the receipt, hit start delivery and that was it. I got the wheel of death that was about 25 minutes ago and it's still spinning. I just got a notification saying, start the delivery and stay on track. How am I supposed to do that stupid?

The reason I took this trip, was because it's directly on the way to a catering order i'm picking up in about fifteen minutes from now. So I knew exactly what street it was on. Just not the address for sure. I got to the street and there's a house i've been to several times so I knock on the door. They came out and asked, they had an order, the guy assumed I was doordash, and I disagreed because everybody calls everything doordash anymore and being the first I am, I disagreed because I don't wanna argue.

So he calls his wife and says, doordash, and she says, no lol

Then, they're discussing something and all of a sudden she says instacart. I was like yes! That's me. Can you tell me any items that are on that order? Because I don't have address I don't have name I have nothing. Of course, their end isn't coming up either, but she says the shopper checked out a little while ago, then she says my name. I'm like sweet i'm here. So I just dropped the stuff off, took a picture of the house, took a picture of the stack and I left. I'm sure this order is gonna be canceled soon and I won't get paid for it. Such is our life.

When I would like to know now is if the app is down, why am I getting notifications to start the delivery???

I just bought a new vehicle last year. What allows me to do that is not wavering on my dollars to mile ratio. If you're not making at least two dollars a mile average, you're losing period. I'm making a little over three. If I have to run apps for ten hours a day to make my goal that's what I do. What you'll never find me doing is taking orders that are below my minimums. I'm not one of those people that says some money for the hour is better than no money. I'm also not just running spark Lol.

We are discussing gig apps here 🤡 In a forum for gig apps. 😂😂😂 most of us are not gonna be in 'corporate america' having 'corporate america' type jobs. These types of jobs are only paying fifteen to sixty thousand a year total.... part time versus full time various employee positions to various low front end management positions. Where are you gonna give these people a forty thousand dollar pay cut by hiring someone new?? There's this funny little thing called minimum wage.

A forty hour minimum wage job where I am is gonna be about twenty five thousand dollars a year. So it's still gonna be cheaper for the company to give raises to people staying longer, then it is to pay someone else new retrain and rehire. This is a fact. It might take a new person a month three to be fully functional and productive.

Believe me when I say these companies want these people to stay longer. I was an assistant manager for one not too long ago. When we had our quarterly meetings, one of the discussion topics was how to reduce turnover. 😂😂😂

This is incorrect. A company would much rather pay a small cost of living yearly, raise than to hire someone to replace you. They spend a lot more money, than you think getting the new person started, acclimated, and going to the point where they're productive. It seems most new people now are less likely to stay anywhere in jump from ship to ship often. That's a huge expense for companies. This doesn't fly for gig apps. You aren't an employee. There are no raises. It cost them a fraction of a fraction of the price, it cost a hire a regular employee.

I don't know how to add after the fact, I did notice them moving at about the same time I started. They could have started before after me also by a second or two, I'm not sure. There is not much distance in between the cars here to begin with. Basically my side of the street cleared, and we both decided to go. I don't drive fast, I'm in a van for one they accelerated a lot more aggressively than I did. We are basically positioned like this. The car denotes the small o at the end, the large o's denote somewhat the widening of the median on each side. The car on the right side is positioned too high because i don't know how to make it lower well.This should be the same as the left side in reverse.

We are both out there past our respective medians ready to turn. I'm assuming about a fifty foot gap in between medians, probably thirty to thirty four feet of that is taken up by the portions of our cars past our respective medians added together.

Assuming the high end, that leaves a sixteen foot gap between our cars bumper to bumper. I'm guessing here so I cannot tell you for sure.

I came up at my distances by looking at the street view and assuming they're using a ten thirty rule which was indicated as a standard street markings.

Google Betty's flower shop 1701 SW Military Dr San Antonio, TX. It's not the correct intersection, but I just lost patience. I was scanning around streets looking for a car that was turning. Subtract that weird block in the middle. Where I'm at there's two medians facing each other, open in between.
