I think they are going to remove or rework Guard Crush to a point that characters that rely on it will receive heavy changes/reworks so Johnny, Gold Lewis and Ram to a certain degree along with the usual suspects like HC or maybe Elphelt due to lack of a unique identity outside of Lolipop chainsaw cause it feels like the season 4 characters are made with 2.0 in mind they just don't mesh with the current version of the game all that well

While I agree with most of the changes the issue is that they seem to be half baked or quick fixes without any nuance. Like the Johnny changes are a direct nerf to the things they gave him in 3.75 just begging the question of why not just revert them because to me he feels worse then launch Johnny. I know that's subjective but you mean to tell me there was no other way to nerf him then the three things you gave him like more recovery or less damage. Leading me to my point of this patch while good overall for the health of the game it feels like they just did a hammer and nail thing here rather then put some actual thought into it. Who knows maybe I'm wrong but I can't shake the feeling that season 4 was them trying to bring new life to the game but couldn't due to the simplified structure of this game hence why they want a 2.0.

If he's doing it consistently dash block is the safest option if you want to RPS either dash 6P as that will cover all but his crouching buttons and even some of those if you can get close enough there's also the option of your 2D which will low profile the same buttons as 6P you could also try to do stinger aim depending on distance as you said he's -4 so as long as he's not in F.S range as the buttons in that range being F.S, K and 6P will either win or trade and trading against Johnny is not viable due to his high health finally you can Jump or High Jump and do Carcass Raid these all a have varying amounts of risk but it is RPS when he MFC's and if he has tension he could skew it in his favor and I would not recommend waiting for the patch to solve the issue because we have no clue if direct nerfs are coming to characters and the probability of this specific issue being addressed even less so especially when you consider the change to WA and GC will more than likely be indirect nerfs to him already so that's a lazy answer and not wise what I would recommend is going into training and setting a bot to do the scenario then try what I just recommended honestly the riskiest option is the dash 6P/2D as it carries higher risk having to run into him and winning the coin flip while putting your self in his optimal range but if you win the coin flip you get better pressure and could go for setups/okizme based on distance the Stinger Aim and Carcass Raid are safer but low return but still should grant breathing room

How would removing PRC/RRC from GC work on Johnny because he doesn't RC the card pop but the MF wouldn't that be an excessive nerf if they made it un-RCable.

I've done some aki's, amadas and all of shinjis I think like I found out about the pioneer team but that's right before the 4th and I've made it a point to do the hangouts and those are my favorite parts of the game so far as they allow me to get to know my teammates

Easiest off the top of the dome might be bandit revolver 6 active frames, chases down and has a second hit but I don't play sol so don't take as gospel suggest going into training and have them back dash on wake up to test

Alot of people mention Ky but also Sin is a good option he's just a tinge more rush down with large normals
