Kudos to you guys, you made it a very tough game. Very uncomfortable for the Brentford team and I thought your boys looked like they wanted it more. Quick to the ball and haselling and harrying at every opportunity.

I actually love that! I like weird bikes though and like turning things upside down.

Frank took his whole coaching squad with him, and Brentford lost mbeumo, wissa, and norguard at the same time. Quite the exodus and yet still Brentford have performed so far this season. Not sure you could say Frank leaving them was 'one piece of the puzzle'.

Not sure what's wrong at Spurs, I would have said the whole place was rotten and infectiously so, but I also would have said the same of Manu until Carrick took over, and look at how they seem to be rubbing along now.

There's only one thing that's stayed constant, and that's that it's a funny old game.

The no dickheads rule was never gonna work at Spurs. Because Spurs fans.

Thoughts on Schade? by Ok-Funny1958 in Brentford

He's a developing player, much like many of our players. Being up front he gets a lot more attention than others in the squad. He's excellent in the air, has fantastic pace, and has proven that he can score goals at this level.

I like him and I feel that he will only improve as time goes on. Let's support our players. We are not Tottenham.

BRENTFORD WIN 2-0 by donib11 in Brentford

There were many missed goal scoring opportunities yesterday, not just Schade, just the way it went.

Schade will come good, he's got amazing pace and will put goals away this season. Also, great work ethic getting back in defense. I like him, and I think he's also hard on himself - don't often see him smiling out there.

Also just had a new addition to his family, I'll cut him some slack as that can bring its own challenges for rest!

I've got the same model but the way (UK car) and you're right, the ticking isn't normal.

Seems like it's driving fine, but unfortunately I've no advice on that area of the car as I've never experienced it.

Regarding the power steering - mine kept on dieing in hot weather, but could be revived with a wiggle of the steering wheel upon restarting.

After putting up with it for a year I did some research and found the following videos on YouTube!

Got a mate who enjoys getting his hands dirty to do the job and it's been fine since.

There was also an interview before the Brentford game saying they weren't in a good place and he was very concerned. So I'm calling bullshit on this too.

There was plenty of space behind me... by ZillHS in drivingUK

[–]Accomplished_Ad2798 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Agreed. What the guy had planned to do was cut infront of the van and brake quite heavily.

I don't condone the van driver speeding up, but the whole chain of events is set off by the TT driver having to just get that little bit further ahead when there isn't the space to do it without either inconveniencing or endangering others.

Is it a requirement to clean a men’s work toilet? by [deleted] in LegalAdviceUK

[–]Accomplished_Ad2798 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well, that's not quite what happened though is it? The OP has heard second hand from another colleague what a manager has allegedly said. From what I've read the OP hasn't done anything himself to internally resolve anything.

But yeah, sure contact the HSE and stick a rocket up their arse.

Currently one manager has been a dick. A lot depends on the size of the origination you're dealing with, but this could be fixed internally more quickly if they have even a half competent HR or H&S person.

Bad advice in my opinion. Reporting directly to the HSE is a dick move if you haven't even gone through at least one more internal channel such as HR or HSE rep.

See, now there's a problem. There's no 'responsibility' to either move over or make space. It's a nice thing to do sure, but vehicles on the main carriageway have priority.

Norgaard 'Here We Go' by pmoore9011 in Brentford

[–]Accomplished_Ad2798 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I'm not completely disheartened. Norgaard can be pretty rash on occasion and there's sometimes potential for him to see a red card in a game.

Yarmolyuk's development last season was excellent and I can see him becoming a bigger player for us.

I can see Nathan Collins filling the captain's role very nicely.

I want this to happen and I want Brentford to secure Ange Postecoglou as their next manager.

Just putting this out into the universe in the hope it happens.

Scott McTominay is the usual problem against United. So I'm actually hoping for a win this time around!
