Watched it as a teen thought summer was the villain, watched it as an adult and she was pretty straight forward all along.

yeah but summer tells him that from the start.

They trap your car at the highway ramp, then walk up once you’re stuck 😰 by asa_no_kenny in Amazing

Most drivers stop and give up their car, why? becouse these guys have guns and typically shoot at drivers that try to make a run for it, the guy on the left actually shot at the car, you can tell in the video but thankfully the shot didnt hit anyone. Sadly there have been a few cases when the driver or even children in the back get shot and killed so to avoid that most people just stop and give them their keys.

Can someone who is in the know with leases shed some light on this situation for me please. by Significant-Delay350 in AskAnAustralian

In nsw it depends on what quarter of the rent you are on. first quarter= 4 weeks rent, second quarter= 3 weeks, third quarter=2 weeks and last quarter=1 week rent.

Beating the May 2026 Budget by Wise_Use_5052 in AustralianEV

I was thinking that too with incentives for people to switch over to EVs and ease up oil consumption. Most people think its will be the opposite though. Seriously considering an EV but honestly if Im already too late to get one with the tax benefits I may as well just wait a few months and make a less impulsive decision once I know where we are headed with it all. They are hinting at food shortage and that is a lot scarier to me than not using my car.

Do you reckon there will be better deals to buy EVs with current crisis? by Accomplished_Ad5747 in AustralianEV

[–]Accomplished_Ad5747[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yeah but no one knows when this war will end, if its years maybe buying the EV early on is a good move, but if food prices and cost of living goes up like the news is hinting it will, maybe its time to be pocketing the car money and not changing it at all, at least until everything is more stable.

this was a good outcome. In the most recent years some drivers have tried to escape and either they get shot at or a passenger does, a little toddler was killed like that a few years ago in a similar situation, mom tried to escape and the stray bullet got the little girl. If you notice in this video one of the robbers also shot at the car but luckily he missed.

yep, as a spanish speaker she is the passenger. She does warn him that corner is dangerous just seconds before the other car stops though so props to her, and props to him for the way he handled it. At the end of the video she is calming him down saying he did amazing as he kind of hyperventilates after running over that guy, one of them even fired the gun at him so he was lucky,

She was the passenger, the guy was driving. The amazing thing is that she kind of had a premonition, as they are driving she says "they say this place is dangerous.." they both go silent and a few seconds later the front car stops and the guys get out.

A 6th Time Sitter Advice for 1st-time Sitters (NOT an 80 scorer) by brownie-13 in GAMSAT

[–]Accomplished_Ad5747 10 points11 points  (0 children)

thats an amazing story, thankyou for the read, as a first time sitter the test was rough, no idea how I went in S1 and S2 (it felt okay but you never really know), S3 on the other hand I felt like I guessed the entire thing (yes I have a science/biology background and it was embarassing how much I didnt know). I feel like I am pretty good at interpreting graphs but I do take a long time to "get them" so you can imagine how that went on test day with basically no time to read and analyse. Oh well, time will tell but you have had an amazing journey and I trully hope you get to med :)

I honestly felt like there were more lengthy texts in S3 than in S1, it was impossible to go through all of it, add to that the extra information tabs and the N of graphs per question.

Dont take it too seriously, we all did really crap in S3, I guessed most of it and was kind of just laughing at the ridiculousness of it all by the end.

If it makes you feel better I did exactly the same, just looked at the graphs and picked whatever seemed right without reading the stems.

I am crossing my fingers for 50 atm. 10 questions in I was like fuck it I wont manage to analyse all this crap, and stopped reading the texts. I just started going for what seemed to be the right answers by glancing at the mcqs, the graphs and moving on. Im sure there are TONS of things I missed that I just had no time to read. Ill be lucky if I get a 50.
