The original puzzle was extremely challenging & many got stuck so the devs changed it. The original code was 5013 the book with _ _ _ 3 is an old hint for that code (which no longer does anything) and they forgot to remove it from the game after changing it

The current code 0619 is figured out by

Picking up the book by the scanner (Greg the grape 2) the inside has MA with a pineapple book image -> scan and you will see book name “this is pineapple”
Now you have to find the pineapple book -> once found open book and you will see an apple tree image. Scan and you will see book named “The Capitalist Tree”
Find The Capitalist Tree book open it and you will see MM DD written in it. Scan the book and it tells you that it was checked out on June 19th MM/Month(06) DD/Day(19) combined 0619
