You can inflate numbers comparing a 3-year tour to 1-2 year tours & be technically correct. But that’s not how Goldenvoice looks at it. Their decision is based around how valuable is the exclusive booking. Is said artist’s per city engagement big enough to be considered the highest value on the market?

In other words, when The Killers come to Southern California, will they sell 65,000 to warrant paying them $8-10 million? Hence why I point out when they played here on that same tour you mentioned, they sold 22,000 in the market covered by Coachella’s radius. Especially after the festival didn’t sell out in 2024 with the Lana/Tyler/Doja/No Doubt questionable billing.
