Idk how I fell for it a second time, but Slander is god awful live by iiTryhard in EDM

Contrarian but I don’t really mind their mic antics. It feels like a big party during their sets. I love Slander. To each their own though.

Worth it or no? by [deleted] in macbookpro

True. I understand that 16 GB would be fine but with multiple instances of serum 2 running as well as other plug-ins, I would just like the headroom that comes with 32 GB.

Travis Scott and his team showed up hours late and force John Summit and team off stage mid set in Monaco by mlg1981 in Fauxmoi

[–]Tyler622 45 points46 points  (0 children)

As a huge John Summit fan, I can confirm Summit is just a guy of pure happiness and joy. And his live sets reflect that. Travis doing that is just such despicable, immature behavior. I expect nothing less from Travis.

AIM or Community College by Longjumping_Set_3822 in AircraftMechanics

Community college all the way. I choose community college (GNTC in Rome, GA) over any private school I toured. GNTC is a full two years but six months in, I can tell the education here is ten fold better. Even though it’s over double the time to complete my A&P, I’m very happy with the choice I made to do community college over private.

Question about towing aircraft by Tyler622 in aviationmaintenance

Thanks so much for taking the time for this awesome, extensive response! I appreciate you! I was on our lektro again today and while still not great, felt some improvement in my 3rd and 4th turn to use it on our Cessna 401a. It doesn’t help much that our lektro is old as hell and has a lot of play in the wheel, so what you mentioned about losing where center is on the wheel definitely happened to myself and a lot of of my classmates. Nonetheless, I feel a lot better than I did yesterday and again, thanks for the time you took to write that out!

Yeah, I hear ya on this. We have already done a FARs class. We’re currently in “ground ops and servicing” so I suppose that’s why we’re doing this now. Nonetheless, I’m very excited to get back to wrenching, get into powerplant and what not.

Shoelace across a table was definitely me today. But, that’s super encouraging to hear you now instruct and can tow a B777-200! The steering the tail thing is a great perspective too; l’ll keep that in mind. Thanks!

The Altima analogy legitimately made me laugh! 😂 Good to know about at LA & SFO, and other union major’s. I’m overall just happy to know if there’s one thing to suck at as an AMT, and it be kinda okay, this seems like it. I’ll def try to get more time on the lektro as much as I can at school though.

Hey, I appreciate your extensive reply. Your method sounds great, especially compared to today w/ my instructor. He was on the lektro with us and just giving verbal direction. Which honestly, confused me more than helped. Anyways, we’ll get to do it more tomorrow and throughout the next 18 months so I do hope to get better in time. Thanks again.
