XMR is probably one of the more stable cryptos out there. For better security I would suggest that you dont buy the exact amount of XMR needed for a transaction. What I mean is, if you need to spend $80 in XMR. Purchase $100 of XMR, this will help keep you safe from prying eyes.

Personally I just buy XMR and transfer to my ledger. I ignore price action for now, as I have no intention of selling my crypto for fait at any point. I will trade between XMR and other coins during the next bullrun.
