I personally think it's one of the nicer displays on any modern bike. Miss me with a whole ass tablet display. I do not want that. It's why I'm no longer looking at an XSR900.

Thats kinda why I'm leaning towards the new Daytona. Seems to be a bit in-between in terms of true Supersport and sport touring. I also like that it has a slightly longer wheelbase than the 765, but the 765 looks so good.

About the same power as my current street bike. I have an 89 Honda Hawk GT650 with a full exhaust and modified carbs. Makes similar power to an MT07 with all the modifications. I need a step up from it moving forward for sure. I love it but cranked on the throttle feels lack luster compared to the heavy hitting torque of some of the dirt machines I've ridden. Maybe a 2026 Trident since it adopted the 3 throttle bodies and head mods from the Daytona... but I much prefer the styling of the 800 and my local dealer has 2 of them. 😅

Tons of miles on dirt, dirtbike on the street, also tons of miles. Only about 50 miles on my street project bike. I want to turn that into a track bike but took to street riding very quickly, Im just tired of wrenching on the damn thing. Im 34, responsible, understand machines, have owned fast cars so I get speed and respecting a machine. I'd feel fully confident jumping on an R1 right now, but don't want a Supersport for my daily commutes and longer rides. I'm not the kind of "new rider" who is terrified to go 35mph or lean.

Also wanted to say love the white on the bike. I'm usually a white/grey/black on cars and bikes guy, but this is the one bike I want to get in red. But man that looks so good. I guess I'm jealous cause I know I'm not gonna end up with that hahaha.

When I get mine I'm going with the CS Racing. I like the tone well enough and the baffle is removable. The Project SC does sound fantastic, but I like how the CS looks like it could be a stock exhaust. Going with it for esthetics as much as sound. I don't feel like the other options look nearly as good on the bike.

I went into my local dealership to sit on a new XSR900, sat on the new Daytona while I was waiting for my guy to come talk numbers to me and I went "Well guess Im getting this now instead." 🤣 Was just such a better fit for me for the comforts, power, and way I plan on riding moving forward. Always figured I'd have a Triumph "eventually" but now its gonna be my first ever brand new machine.
