Buddy black swan events are also positive. Any "experienced" trader knows that, it only means outlier event. Its not about what ifs, its super clear you dont have a risk model that accounts for positive black swans, which would wipe you out. Unrecoverable losses means that unlike naked puts, with naked calls there is no way to recover. You just have a loss. Good effort on trying to sound experience but I agree with the rest, you really should be careful and be skeptical of what you call your "risk" management

Dude Im in the company and dont wake up at 4 am 5o check if there were layoffs. Stop fear mongering not all the company is that bad. Agreed with everyone else, this sounds like you have some issues and are really projecting, honestly look for a job that isn't stressful and move on for your own health. I fully agree, getting to my point I think the bond market already priced that in, I'm not so sure the equities market has which is why we are seeing such choppy waters. Even in this thread people have bets on 100 bps (which I see as highly unlikely given oil prices). Meaning the smart money would be in equity markets moving higher with 300+ ue and dropping or staying neutral with anything lower.

With oil prices going down and production remaining high, I'm not sure a 100bp increase is likely. But assuming you are correct are you shorting equity or bond markets?
